The campus life and the peer group and the way it ignites the competitive spirit all the time
The Annual fests of the college where we are able to witness big stars , new innovations and get entangled in joy

The crowd sometimes annoys me as in canteens and hotels there are huge number of seats occupied all the time
Lack of modernisation outside the campus as most of the area is rural

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty student ration is 1:30 that means its pretty good for a candidate to get his doubts cleared . All the faculties are pretty renowned and are mostly research graduates from foreign universities and the teaching method is based on school system where classes are held daily The exams are held in two phases namely midsem and endsem and generally the endsem carry half of weightage and are on a tougher side

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I am a second year student as of now but hthe internships are offered to third year and fourth year students and generally big giamts offer roles to students for 2-3 monts and projects related to ML , data generally fetch research internships

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester . Companies like Google, Microsoft have visited in the past years and have offered roles in various domains such as SDE, Data, SWE .The highest package in domestic goes around 70LPA wheraes the average goes around 15-16 LPA .According to a recent data , it shows that that 87 percent of students are placed whereas others go for higher education . My plans are mostly to target a specific domain such as data and land up a job in a firm

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no fee hike in college and the cost to study including all aspects such as mess,hostel goes around 3,00,000/year . The Scholarships are awarded based on merit as well as income criteria . Also the students with lower income background get a finanacial assistance in the form of fee waiver

Campus Life :

Life at campus is pretty good than an average college life as we have a bunch of things to explore . We have our Spring Fest and Kshitij in the month of January which are the fests of our college . The infrastructure of library is pretty good and also we have air conditioned rooms in classes as well as library.The sports culture is the best thing about our college as it diversifies in many forms and everyone is free to choose and explore the sport they like

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are the best part of a students life as they are second home to a student . We have well equipped cupboards , tables in the room and the mess food is pretty good in terms of oil content , nutritous values . The affordability is what makes our hostels special as we have to just pay a meagre amount of 35000 for a semester

Hostel Fee : INR 35000 per year

Admission :

I had to appear for the JEE Exam soa as to be eligible in my college for admission . The application forms were released on the website of NTA which conducts the exam . We can avail various type of reservations based on category, disability etc. One improvement I would like to see is the process of verification should be more clear regarding the documents submission

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
