Candidate seeking admission to 3 Years Full-Time Ph.D Program must have completed Post Graduation from a recognised Institute or University.

Course Details

IITKGP offers admission to Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) and Ph.D. programs in various disciplines at Doctoral level. Ph.D. program is offered in four categories, i.e, Regular with Institute Assistantship, Ph.D. with Fellowship (INSPIRE/ UGC/ NET), Sponsored Ph.D. and Ph.D. through sponsored Research Project.

The admission is offered on the basis of Department-Based Test followed by Academic Performance and Work Experience and Interview. GATE/ NET/ CSIR/ UGC or SLET qualified candidates are also eligible for admission.
