Location factor I think is not good for our college that’s why a few companies come as compared to top IITs

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester student get eligible for campus placements , companies start coming from 7th semester and all the test are conducted first , interview are held afterward the test in month of December . We have Placement in 2 phases .

Likes

The campus, yes the campus vibe and facilities provided are unmatchable.
The alumni connection, being the oldest engineering cllg in India, the alumni network is very great, you can find people from your college in almost every major companies and startups like Razorpay.

Dislikes

The faculties, yes the faculties are very well qualified but not wvery good learner is a great teacher, that applies here.
Campus politics, just like any other colleges, IITR also have some plitics regarding the general secreatries position, which creates tension among students those have to live whole 4 years together.

Placement Experience:

The placements stats of IIT Roorkee is pretty great, for ece the average package is 22 LPA. You get to sit for placements in your 4th year, with many big companies coming to get you like Google, Microsoft, KLA, DE Shaw etc. Offering almost every profile. More than 80% of students gets placed on campus while other get the job off campus. Highest package goes upto 2 to 3 Cr per annum which is generally international package, while domestic package goes upto 1.5 to 2 Cr.

Campus life: best place, you can roam in campus with blush greenery, peacefully.
Opportunities provided by iit, like sports complex, participation in events

Dislikes

fees structure: very much fees, it should be less
triple sharing problem: space issue is very irritating

Placement Experience:

Placement season is around December in our college. The average package is quite good. obviously because of IIT. around 90% of people placed here and the rest go for more or less higher studies. Microsoft, google, amazon etc many companies came here. my dream company is Microsoft

Sometimes mess food quality is not good.

On campus, placements are offered to students in their final year. And the average package is around 15 LPA. Almost 85 percent of students are greeting campus placement opportunities. Off-campus placements are also good.

Remarks:

IITs in India are the best place for pursuing B.Tech. It has the excellent placements records, my cousin brother also studied computer science and engineering from here and he got placed in a top IIT. So when I got chance to choose my college, I choose the same.

Placement Experience:

Many famous companies like Google Microsoft,intel, etc. used to visit in our campus placement cell every year. Students give interviews and some exams conducted by companies for their placements in companies. The placement record of my department in last four years is more than 85 percent. Alumni interactions with students play a huge role in job referrals. They guide students to choose the best career options for their bright future.

Remarks:

I appeared in jee advanced in 2018 and got a good rank of, All India Rank 1200. This is one of the best opportunities I got. I always wanted to be in a prestigious Indian Institute of Technology and as per rank basis and my branch choice IITR was best.
