Safety on the campus is awesome with almost no safety concern.
Peer group: The peer group and set of students that surround you are the best among the country and the energy inside the campus is amazing.

Dislikes

The gender ratio is quite bad, very few girl students for such a prestigious institute as IITB
The hostel rooms for 2nd and 3rd year UG students are very bad.

Fests because they are all build by student community only and they are asia's largest

Placement Experience:

from 3rd year you are eligible for campus placement. Here almost every company visits. and college average package is about 25 lakhs and the highest package in 2022 is about 4 crore. Here almost everyone gets a job who applied for placement.

I liked my dream college - IIT Bombay. The college life here is much more than my expectations and it led to me to believe in "EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED".
The peer group here is extraordinary. Other colleges crowd seems to have less open-minded and risk-taking students.

Dislikes

I hated the mess food, I regret why my parents pay 22500 when at last i had to take food from canteen by paying an extra amount.

Placement Experience:

IITB attracts a wide range of top-tier companies from various industries during its placement season. Companies like Google, Microsoft, TCS, Amazon and many more dream companies visits here. So, generally, placement is sorted for each individual. The highest and average package increases each year and varies significantly depending on the role, industry, branch of student and of course. The highest package reaches crores while the average package is nearly around 25lpa these years. The percentage of students applying for placement is low and those getting placed is significantly high (approx >=90%).

The placements here are excellent and the alumni network is really very strong many times alumni help the students to get their dream job or internship. After graduation, there are numerous opportunities like a job or MBA or M.Tech or UPSC or starting your own company and many more.

I didn't like the frequency of exams here, they are conducted almost every week...
Because of which the schedule becomes so tight and hectic sometimes

Placement Experience:

students in the fourth year are eligible for campus placements. 250+companies visited and 1200+offers given to students. the highest package is offered to cse students with the highest package going to 3.4 cr per annum this year. and the average package goes to 25 LPA. 85% + students get placed overall (including btech ane mtech). but if we speak of only btech students then 90%+ get placed from campus.

The campus life is very active, you live with the best people
The extracurriculars are thriving and provide many opportunities

Dislikes

The competition is very high sometimes here.
The batch size is very large and 200 students in a class

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered in the final year and internships in the pre-final year. The average package is higher than most colleges and almost everyone gets placed. But it is not in crores like most people expect from IIT.

First and foremost is the lush green campus.
Then comes the best placement offer all over India with big companies.

Dislikes

The compitition as there are all students very intelligent, so some find it very difficult to survive.
It's a government owned body so there is some sort of typical govt services.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT BOMBAY is one the best in India. The college offers numerous packages. Every year many companies come here to hire the best minds and almost 90% of students get placed. I am planning to work on some start-up ideas instead of going for a placement.

Fest like Mood Indigo and Techfest and you'll get chance to enjoy lot of lifetime memorable moment

Academic pressure at time of exam and overnight study.
sometime i don't like election part polling part of campus.

Placement Experience:

There are approximately 400 companies came for placement and 2500 offer has been made this year. The highest offer given is about 4 Cr and lowest is 8 lac per annum, and the average is approx 25 lac. The highest offer is given for tech profile and the average is given for product management and consultant, and data scientist. Approximately 85% of students get placed this year that include B.tech and M.tech. Coming to my interests and plan I want to get a job in my B.tech only.

Opportunities to grow and develop skills

Placement Experience:

There are campus placement opportunities in the college. About 95-98 percent of the students got placed in the companies. Numerous companies came for placement like Microsoft, Google, optiver, reliance, etc. The highest package is in crores and the average package is around 17-18 lakhs. I am planning to secure a good package job after my degree and then maybe go for MBA.

Placement Experience:

Students completing the 6th sem of BTech are eligible for placements. Companies in various sectors like IT/Software, Finance, Consult, Analytics, etc. visit. Most of these companies are open to every department. Software Companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Amazon, firms Accenture, Bain and Company, BCG, and banks like Axis Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank etc. visit for hiring. No. of offers made are near 1300 which is higher than the no. of students sitting for placements since some students get multiple offers. Almost 95% of students get placed. The average package is near 20LPA. Jobs in all the above-mentioned profiles are offered. Also, companies like Tata Steel, Jaguar, and Bajaj visit for hiring in the Core Mechanical profile. I am planning to get a job in Analytics profile.
