- Sports facilities are the best with tournaments like interyear ,interbranch ,lalkaar sportseet amd inter NIT.
- Hostel life is wonderful and I recommend everyone to go to that campus for learning.
Dislikes
- The food of the mes in the hostels are very terrible sometimes.
- Food is very bad 90 percent of the times which cause problem for freshers.

Placement statistics are descent tho.cs mechanical and civil electricsl have good placement with god avg package.. Plus international placement also occurred last yr achieving 1.75 cr So no doubt placement is good in this college

- Big campus means lot of walk, everything you need to reach you have to walk for atleast 10 minutes
- Reservation is something i condemn and you can see it's effects everywhere

Great companies come and many offers are made if you are from a core branch ofcourse CG is of great value for the companies... i myself paln for higher studies but you can always go for placements if you wish too and almost all students land with one in hand

- the campus is very beautiful it is called as the heaven of all colleges , reallt the vibe of college specially during evening is very nice and relaxing
- the college offers library reading area which allows you to read in the reading areas till 11.30 of night and girls are allowed too

- the faculties are not give good marking in the exams which i think should be improved
- there is a criteria of 75 % attendance which i think should be stopped because it restricts the students just focus on academics
Placement Experience:
after 2nd year sudents becoem eligible for the campus placements , they can sit in the placement cells nokia , wipro , samsung , tcs , google like companies visists the campus an dthey make around 40 to 50 no of offers the highest package offered is around 1cr but the highest offcampus placement is around 1.5cr around 50 to 60 percent students got the offer from which 40 to 50 percent got placed my plan is to take a good placement and prepare for upsc alongwith the job

Placement Experience:
So from 3 year or 6 semester we are eligible for campus placements placements are pretty nice with average of 12 lpa for my branch gernally wipro ,deoltt,samsung,Tata etc visits the campus .Major issue in campus is that it is far from city so travelling is a major issues so less company visits the campus.higest is of 1.43 (offcampus) with average of 12 lpa and on campus the highest is 45lpa.Around 78-80 percent of student get placed but less took placement as due to less money offered to them

- College is good enough.A great weather condition in which you feel every season of the year.The College has beautiful architecture.Main attraction are OAT,SP, Auditorium and some other places
- The Nescafe and verka shops inside the campus.There are two Nescafe and one verka shop which have delecious food items

- Senior-junior relations are ended up on fights because the ego clashes
- The connectivity is very far for market and not a good spot nearby where we can go with friends
Placement Experience:
There are many student who got internship in their 3rd year and also some student who got PPO(pre placement offer) in their final year.Highest package is 40LPA.while the average package is 16LPA.The percentage vary every year but mostly it's about 70-80% depending on the branch.

- The campus has beautiful infrastructure.
- The campus life is great and the campus is beautiful

- Lots of restrictions for first years
- High drop in the placement and this might even go lower
Placement Experience:
The students get placed in their final year . Major companies like apple Google Microsoft visit our campus we have a good average package although there as has been a very large drop in the number of students placed this year

- Placements are quite good for ECE and CSE which I liked.
- The campus life is amazing since it is very beautiful and in the lap of nature.
Dislikes
- Travelling to home becomes a problem for those who are not from Himachal And the nearest railway station is 80 km far.
- The city Hamirpur is not that developed and so there are no good malls and theatres.
Placement Experience:
Since it is a NIT therfore the placements are good and there are good amount of placement offers provided on campus. For internships the companies visit the campus each year for 3rd year's 6th semester students. Less companies visit for internships but fir placements it is quiet better. Students become eligible for placement for 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered for 2022-2023 was 173 lakhs per annum. Average package was around 12 lakh and for ECE department it is 15 lakh per annum. As per 2023 690 students were placed out of 952. Percentage placement was around 75 percent for 2022-2023. Infosys, Godrej, Samsung, Maruti Suzuki, TVS and others visited the campus. I look forwa for placements.

- The study system which is more of a theoretical base
- The behaviour of seniors towards the new coming to the college
Course Curriculum Overview:
For my course that's electronics and communication, it it expected that this sector will boom to its peak by making a ton load of jobs and bright opportunities. The electronics are used in our daily to daily lives so that's why this sector is never gonna stale in near future. Only this that's need to be improved is that teaching must be more practical basis.
Likes
- The faculty is very helpful and helps with all kinds of problems.
- The campus life is very good as the senior junior interaction is very good.
Dislikes
- There are in timings and students are not allowed to wander in the college after 10:30pm in the night.
- Sometimes proper water is not available and we have to pay for it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very satisfying as in the first year we have to study all the courses. And later on we have to decide where our interest is and what should we prefer. Like in first semester we have to study electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mathematics, engineering drawing, chemistry, environmental and in 2nd semester we have to study mechanical, physics, communication, ethics. The practicals are also very smooth as they offer all round development including the vocational development.
Likes
- I really like the peaceful environment of the campus. I somebody wants to use peaceful environment he/she can use it to develop their skills.
Dislikes
- The availability of food whether in canteens or shops. Most of them have momos or spring roll and they even don't give extra chutney or extra fork.
- The culture of calling seniors by Sir/Ma'am. Initially I adjusted with it but it becomes a habbit and coming out of campus there you realize it is a weird thing happens in some 150 acre of isolated campus
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are going with a mix of good and bad news. Students which had really good skill set found there way to bang big packages but average and below average students found them struggling as the ongoing recession and mass recruiters not recruiting new recruits this year. The highest package was 1.7 Crore. The companies which visited the campus include LatentView, Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd., Cisco, Escorts Cubota Ltd., Genpack, Renata Precision, Microchip Technology Inc., Bajaj Finserv, Technip Energies,etc. .
