- A valid score in JEE Advanced is also mandatory. The following applicants are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced:

The curriculum comprehensiveness is rather vast extensive. There are two kind of exams, namely midsems, and endsems. The curriculum can be improved by updating certain parts and introducing some flexibility in the program.

- Professors are well qualified and when we reach to them they solve our doubts.

- Very heat in summer in campus when we go out from hostel to academic building or tutorial block .We have to face this situation
- Library is small and is full every time but a new library is being constructed

The course curriculum in term of relevance and comprehensiveness can be explained as I chose mechanical engineering but in 1st yeal all subject are common to all .I one there are 2 semesters and in one semester there is one mid and one end semester examination for all subjects besides there are two quizzes.

- As it is an iit , it is always good to be here.
Dislikes
- weather here is very humid and hot and gets a lot of mosquitoes whole year
- quite a few variety of food shops here and very few cafe

As I have in mechanical department, the course is very relevant to the gate exam course . proff. tries to take workshops and labs for real time experience and teaching of profs is also above average and for the exams it happens twice the semester midsems and endsems and some quizzes between them

Since childhood i am very interseted in automobiles. so i choose mechenical branch. Mech is a core branch and has large no of real life applications. Faculty is very experienced ans well qualified. Very good level of topics are covered in class and timings are also comfortable

IN MECHANICAL HERE, THE FACULTY OF THE INSTITUTE HAS DEVICED A VERY GOOD SYLLABUS, ACCOMPANIED WITH THE LABS WHICH KEEP US AS PAR WITH THE INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITIES. THE FACULTIES HERE ARE WELL QUALIFIES WITH MOST OF THEM HAVIG GREAT INDUSTRIAL CONTACT.

- 75 percent attendance to classes is so mandatory that if sometimes not met will be taken serious issues
- Weather here gets so cold to go outside in winter

Our course curriculum is at the top notch as it is an IIT. They teach so many new things and researches in IITs. The equipment for labs and research are highly advanced and very useful. The curriculum helps students to tackle real life problems with smart solutions. The teaching methods are so enthusiastic that students never feel bored and willing to know more by asking doubts. The teachers are too willing to teach students new things and making them part of their research.

Interest in Mechanical department brings me to choose this course. My department provides me various job opportunities as soon as I complete my Bachelor degree and I can also apply for higher studies in India as well as in foreign countries. Everything is good. Timing is from 8am to 1pm and lab from 2pm to 5pm

- No AC's in the hostel but in other iits ac's are being provided in hostels as summers are peak

The course I enrolled is mechanical engineering. This is one of the oldest engineering branch. I chose this course because this is having a very good demand in public. Mechanical engineers are paid well. Mechanical engineers are very important for innovations.well in my college I think everything is ok like the course curriculum and teaching is also very good we are given best faculty.
