Foreign National Students desirous of availing of elevated accommodation and dining facilities at the Institute’s International Hostel need to pay an extra INR 47261 per semester including the total semester fees in odd and even semester. For availing International Hostel, the students are required to put forward their request which may be considered case-to-case basis, depending on the availability and as per Institute norms.

The course is well planned with curriculum. And competition is also tough enough because all smart brains assemble here in the IITs. And professors are also highly qualified with their degrees like PhD and even number of research scholars are there to help in reaching the professors with out any communication barrier. It is a nice experience studying here. I feel I am blessed to join this college because I am seeing real meaning of life here. Over all I have made the right choice I say.

The course is very well planned by the institute and is very intresting. The facultys are very well experienced and so much trained. There are 4 exams conducted throughout the year 2 mid sems and 2 end sems.

The curriculum followed in IITs is outdated it does prepares much about real world applications , industry etc.But,yes we have got best facilities labs like NVCTI ,CAD lab etc where u can go and do research. Mostly the Research scholars and TA under the guidance of professer teaches us the Labs .

I am interested in mechanical engineering so I opted for mechanical engineering.the faculty is good and student ratio is 3 girls for 10 boys and faculty here are qualified upto PhD and teaching method is good.

IIT Bhubaneswar is a new IIT and was established in the year 2008. On the other hand, IIT Dhanbad is an old IIT. Being an old IIT, the academic curriculum and academic flexibility are more functional at IIT Dhanbad than any other new IIT.
Many of my friends have passed out from IIT Dhanbad who were highly satisfied with their placement considering their JEE advance ranks. In the placement drive 2020, the highest package offered to the mechanical branch at IIT Dhanbad was INR 17 lakhs per annum.
Changing your branch is comparatively easier at IIT Dhanbad. So, even if you are compromising on your branch of choice, you can get it altered to your choice once you join in.
