The placements are good in our college. This year the average package is around18 LPA. From the 5th or 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package will be around 50 LPA.

IITG is among the top IITs of India and maintains very good placement statics. Students become eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. Many big tech giants visit campus for placements. Few are Google, Amazon, Facebook, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, bajaj, Nvidia and more. In the previous years, few students also got packages above 1 crore and Microsoft offered a 1.5 crore package. Despite the covid pandemic, IITG successfully conducted an online placement session and 444 out of 584 students from B.Tech. and B.Des. were placed. placement percentage was 76.02 percentage. The highest package was 70 lakhs and the average package was 21.42 lakhs per annum.

IITs are known for their very good placements. IIT Guwahati is among the Top 7 IITs and it also has very good placement stats. &th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Google, Amazon, facebook, Adobe, nvidia, infosys are a few of the top recruiters. IN 2019, Microsoft offered the highest CTC of 1.5 crores. FOr the present year, despite the covid situation, very good placements were here. The highest package offered was 70laks per annum and the average package offered was around 21.42 lakhs per annum which is higher than the previous year. The placement percentage was around 76% for B.Tech. and B.Des courses, also many students opted for higher studies. I'll be focusing on the core placements and PSUs visiting the campus.

Students are eligible for placements after the 7th semester. For the year 2021 highest package offered was 70 lakhs and the average package was around 21.42 lakhs per annum. For the year 2020, the highest package offered was 1.5 crore per annum and the average package was around 20.62 lakhs per annum. In 2021, 444/584 (70.62%) students from B.Tech. and B.des. were placed, whereas in the year 2020 it was around 485/561 (86.45%).

Campus placements are very good here as it is an IIT in the top 7 of India. Students become eligible from the 7th semester for placements. Almost evry tech company visits our college for placements like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe and many more. Also some PSU visits during placements. For the year 2021, 147 companies visited the campus and 686 students were placed with the highest package of 70 lakhs per annum and an average package of 21.41 lakhs per annum. This year around 76% of students from BTech were placed.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year one is eligible for getting placed but students are doing intern from 2nd years. Lots of big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, google provide internships and placements every year. 80-85% of students are getting placed. My plan is doing intern from the 2nd year and getting a good placement by the end of the 4th year. The highest packages are given across 1 crore every year.

The students are eligible for placements after the 7th semester. Almost every tech giant visits the campus like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Abobe, Nvdia and many more. This year 140 companies participated in the placements and a total of 686 students were placed. 444 out of 584 students from B.Tech and B.Des got job offers. The highest package for this year was 70 lakh per annum and the average package was 21.42 lakhs per annum which is higher than the last year. Overall 57.16% of students were placed and for B.Tech and B.Des., 76.02% of students were placed. I would like to get any core job in the placements.
Remarks:
Food is not so compatible for South Indian students. Some unpredictable weather. City around college is not so good. Many tourist places are present. Good social life. Excellent place to study and lead your passion.
