KEA has postponed the PGCET 2024 exam due to clashes with other university exams. Initially the Karnataka PGCET exams were scheduled for July 13 and 14, 2024. Candidates who still have not registered for the exam can register between June 26 – July 7, 2024, at kea.kar.nic.in. The exam will be conducted for admission to MTech/ME, MCA, and MBA courses. The eligibility criteria require candidates to have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, and 5% relaxation for reserved category students.
- Students enrolling as part-time status must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience
- The application fee must be paid by July 7, 2024.
Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay Rs 650 as application fee while the application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) is Rs 500.
According to Karnataka PGCET exam pattern, you must solve 100 MCQs, carrying 1 mark for each. Candidates get a total of 120 minutes for solving M.Tech/ M.E/ MCA/ MBA papers. The exam is conducted offline via an OMR sheet. Karnataka PGCET exam contains four sections in the question paper. The weightage for every part and section of the question paper differs from course to course. There is no negative marking in Karnataka PGCET 2024.
