CUET 2024 exam is to be held from May 15 to May 24, 2024. CUET exam day guidelines have been released with the release of admit card. The CUET 2024 admit card contains details of guidelines to be followed on the CUET exam day 2024. Some of the important instructions to follow before and during the exam are detailed below.

  • Candidates should check the exam center first to get familiar with the exam location.
  • It is good practice to get a sound sleep the night before the exam. This helps the students to remember or recall during exams and prevent any anxiety or stress.

CUET Exam Day Facilities

CUET 2024 Exam Day Facilities for PwBD Candidates

Any PwBD candidate with a benchmark disability (benchmark disability should be 40%) should carry a valid Disability Certificate to the exam center. Moreover, Such candidates will be provided with the following facilities:

  • A facility of a scribe would be provided to the candidates if he/she has a physical limitation to write the examination on his/her behalf. The valid Disability Certificate should be certified by a CMO/Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
  • A compensatory time of 1 hour of a total 3 hours exam duration would be given to such students, whether he/she uses the scribe or not. It is to be noted that the scribe will only read the questions and mark the answers as per the choice of the candidate. The scribe will not suggest answers to the candidate during the exam.

NOTE: A scribe facility would be provided to the students who have opted for the scribe service during the online CUET 2024 registration. Also, the Scribe will be provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA), if requested for the same.

CUET exam timing is 45 minutes to 60 minutes which varies from subject to subject. The General Test paper and other subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, etc. will be held for 60 minutes. Other subjects like English, Hindi, Geography, Sociology, etc, the duration is 45 minutes.

Candidates are allowed to carry the following things to the CUET 2024 exam center:

  • Take a printout of the admit card and provide your self-declaration where indicated.
  • With admit card carry any valid ID proof for verification purposes.

  • For PwDB candidates, it is mandatory to carry an authorized medical certificate to the exam center.
  • Candidates can also carry a water bottle but the water bottle should be a transparent one. Students must note that the pen they will be carrying should also be transparent.
