CUET 2024 Political Science Syllabus (Out): Chapterwise Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Important Books

CUET 2024 Political Science Syllabus is covered in two books of CBSE Class 12 namely ‘Politics in India Since Independence’ and ‘Contemporary World Politics’. There are a total of 19 chapters including both books.

Challenges of Nation Building, Politics of Planned Development, India’s External Relations, Cold War in World Politics, US Dominance in World Politics are some of the important chapters in CUET Political Science syllabus.

For the Political Science exam, you will be given 50 questions out of which you need to attempt 40 questions of your choice. The time limit to solve 40 questions is 45 minutes. All the questions will be multiple choice questions. As for the marking scheme, +5 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Political Science syllabus on the official website. No changes have been made in the syllabus and the question paper will be based on class 12 chapters only.
