Banaras Hindu University will release the Round 1  seat allotment result on August 17, 5 PM, 2024. The result will be available on the official wbsite i.e. bhucuet.samarth.edu.in. BHU is one of the eminent universities for students seeking admission to a wide range of courses in higher studies.To be eligible for BHU admission through CUET, you should have passed class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. There is no age limit, but you should meet the age limit or other eligibility which are framed by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

CUET BHU courses are many. You can apply for admission to B.A (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Sc (Hons), B.Voc, BPA, etc. in BHU based on CUET scores. First and foremost, qualifying the cut off is mandatory. As per the last years’ cut off analysis, CUET Cut off for BHU is expected to be 300+ for BSc in Agriculture and 400+ for courses like BCom (Hons), BA LLB, BSc Statistics and BSc Physics.

How Much Marks Required for BHU in CUET?

BHU releases course-wise cutoff to select candidates for UG courses through CUET exam. The cutoff is released at the official website – bhu.ac.in. Last year, BHU CUET Cut off for BA (H) was 170 for the General category, 147 for OBC, and 113 for SC category.

BHU Counselling 2024

BHU 2024 Counselling registration for UG courses has started and the Round 1 seat allotment result is out on the official website. The counseling for BHU 2024 Admission will be done on the basis of scores obtained in CUET. On the basis of their ranks obtained in CUET, candidates can take part in the counseling process. To be eligible for the counseling process, candidates must make sure they possess the 12th standard mark sheet and subject eligibility and must have appeared in the CUET exam.

BHU Counselling Procedure 2024

The BHU counseling process is completely in online mode. The detailed counseling process for BHU 2024 is given in the below points

  • Step 1: The candidate needs to register on the Banaras Hindu University admission portal (http://bhuonline.in/) by using CUET Application No. (User Id) and CUET Exam Roll No (as Password).
  • Step 2: Candidates are advised to change their password for security purposes.
  • Step 3: Next, the candidate shall sign in on the Registration portal, fill in all the required details, and upload all essential documents.
  • Step 4: The Preview page will appear on the screen to confirm all the details filled in by the candidate.
  • Step 5: The candidate shall be required to upload the following documents Score card of CUET (UG)2024, Matriculation or its equivalent certificate to ascertain the date of birth, Mark sheet of 12th or qualifying examination, Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority, PwD Certificate, if applicable, BHU Employee certificate, if applicable for those who are claiming under sports achievement certificates, sports quota.
  • Step 6: The candidate shall pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 200/- (for General / OBC/ EWS) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/PwD) through online payment i.e., Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking.
  • Step 87: Before proceeding with the final submission of the registration form and payment the candidate must ensure that all the required documents are uploaded.

Documents Required for Counselling

The documents that are required for the counseling process are given in the below steps:

  • Score Card of CUET UG
  • 10th or its equivalent exam certificate for Date of Birth proof.
  • Marksheet of 12th or Qualifying exam.
  • Passing certificate of Qualifying exam.
  • BHU UET 2024 Admit Card
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) need to be issued by the appropriate authority
