What are the Colleges accepting CUET 2024 Scores?
The Common University Entrance Test was held from May 15 to May 24, 2024, in the hybrid mode. One of the biggest exams conducted in India, it witnessed around 13.48 lakh candidate registrations, with the scores being accepted by 40+ Central Universities, 12 deemed universities, 20 state universities, and 50+ private universities in India.

What is the process of counselling after clearing the CUET?
The CUET UG 2024 counselling process will commence soon after the declaration of the results. Participating colleges mentioned above along with others will release their cut-off and merit list on their respective websites. You are advised to check the websites of the colleges/universities you chose while filling out the application form and see whether you are eligible for admission considering their cut-off. Further, you will receive a notification regarding admission on your registered email ID and phone number. The counselling process will allot you a seat in your preferred institution and courses.
If you wish to carry ahead with the admission, you must fill out the admission form available on the official website of the stipulated university. You have to carry this admission form with you to the respective institution on the day of CUET Counselling 2024.
Steps Involved In CUET Counselling
CUET Counselling is individually conducted online by the participating institutes during July and August. With NTA releasing the Common University Entrance Test results, a copy of your scorecard is also forwarded to the universities and colleges you opted for in the CUET application form.
Step 1: Providing the necessary documents to the admission portal of relevant universities in CUET Counselling procedure. You must submit your CUET results along with other academic and personal documents including your birth certificate, passport size photo, and valid photo ID proof.
You will be contacted by the respective institution/s for the cousnelling session if your documents are accepted and your name is present on the CUET cut-off list.
Step 2: After satisfactory completion of step 1, you will have to attend the in-person cousnelling process during which you can expect questions related to your academic history, personal interest, and future professional aspirations.
Step 3: After you are done with the paperwork in step 1 and personal interview, it is time to pay the counselling charge. The fee is likely to change depending on your reservation category. Majority of the institutions participating in CUET Counselling require full fees payment, which are non-refundable.
Step 4: You are now required to submit all relevant documents to the authorities mentioned accordingly after the completion of the counselling process in entirety. Adequate period of time will be granted for document submission, after which the university will analyse them and take a decision regarding acceptance of candidature and seat allocation.
What is CUET 2024 Spot Counselling?
CUET participating institutions may conduct spot counselling in case there are vacant seats available after the completion of regular counselling rounds. Candidates not allotted seats in the previous rounds are permitted to register for spot counselling by visiting the official websites of the respective institutions.
Besides, the candidate is required to visit the institutes physically and get all the documents verified by the admission officials for participating in the CUET 2024 Spot counselling rounds.
Note: The number of seats available for spot counselling will depend upon the number of vacancies left after the culmination of regular counselling rounds.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ques. I got compartment. Can I still join the CUET counselling and get admission?
Ans. If you have received a compartmental in your qualifying examination, you are not permitted to join the CUET Counselling sessions and secure a seat for admission. The counselling process required candidates to pass all the subjects in their qualifying examinations. In such a scenario, you can pass your compartmental subject, and get in touch with your preferred university or college directly for further advice. If permitted, you might get a chance to appear for the spot counselling session.
Ques. What is the admission procedure for colleges in DU now that CUET exists?
Ans. Delhi University is a participating institution in the Common University Entrance Test. All admission to DU colleges and courses is subject to your CUET score, and the cut-off criteria. You are eligible to attend the counselling sessions at various DU colleges of your choice upon scoring above the cut-off and having passed all subjects in your qualifying examination i.e. boards. The University of Hyderabad offers a five-years MA Economics program. The total program fee is INR 42680. Students who have passed Class XII examination from a recognized board with at least 60% marks can apply for admission. Admission is granted based on the merit of CUET UG and counseling.
