Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 in Science stream or its equivalent qualification, with at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics, Physics as a compulsory subject and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognized Board.

The fees is fairly low when compared to new iiits like iiit pune and iiit sri city.The complete cost of studying is 70300 and hostel and food and other charges are nearly 29700 so total cost is around 100k rupees.Sc/st students get 100% tuition fee waiver.Dual degree and mtech student get TA jobs with stipend

Course Curriculum Overview:
Being the first-ever branch in the area of smart manufacturing, this is a highly interdisciplinary one. One gets knowledge of manufacturing processes in-depth, and basics of machine design, the strength of materials along with knowledge of data structures(CSE), embedded systems(Electronics), Database management systems(CSE), Robotics and Automation(Mechatronics). Being the first of its kind, the curriculum is still evolving and definitely a good choice for the one who wished to pursue an interdisciplinary curriculum.

In comparison with iits and any other center government colleges the fee structure is feasible. Even I can say that fees is less than iits but if we compare with the state government colleges then it is too high I.e. expensive.
