Minimum academic qualification for admission through Central Seat Allocation (as per MHRD, Govt. of India orders) to IIIT Kottayam (hereafter, the Institute) is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with 45% marks with Physics, Chemistry, Maths from a recognized Board.

The exams are good enough to test your knowledge. We have one mid sem and one end sem in every semester. The exams consists of every type of questions. Along with it regular quizzes are held which have a weightage in the sgpa.

- Class room is big with touchscreen board
- Classes ends at 3pm and someday 12 so u could get back to hostel quickly

- Mess food is so bad every have to eat from outside
- Telungu,tamil fa's speaking skill are so bad that we dont understand wtha they are speaking

Iiit kottayam follows iiit hyderabad syllabus the faculty over here are all PhD scholars with teaching experience the curriculum is tough compared to normal engineering colleges accademic wise getting more than 8 cgpa is hard Exams are same a other colleges 1 mid sem and end sem exams along with quiz,viva,assignments,lab exams etc

The course and syllabus is based on industry experience and not just theory orientated and its a pretty good syllabus. But faculty depends on whom you get as sometimes some are just coming to class and going. But there are good faculties but not everyone is same.

The curriculum that provided by IIITK is so good, I love it they include machine learning with AI which is so core and deep, and dsa, several programs, and some electronic subjects are also included in their syllabus.

the course curriculum in cs is both relevant and comprehensive. it covers wide range of topics that are essential for understanding the field .it includes the core concepts such as algorithm ,data structure,computer architecture ,machine learning,cyber security ,artificial intelligence etc

I liked the curriculum as it covers really useful and relevant topics and curriculum is different from other private colleges all faculty are well qualified with m.tech and phd degrees from national institutions regular assignments are given and mid-sems are held every month and end-sem exam is held at end of semester
