IIIT Kottayam to Offer iMTech for Working Professionals From January 2024; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Kottayam has launched an Integrated MTech (iMTech) program for working professionals. The classes for the same will commence online during the weekends from the January 2024 session.

As per IIIT Kottayam, the application window for the iMTech program will be open twice in an academic year, in January and July. The selection of applicants for admission will be done on marks secured in national-level entrance exams.

Individuals who have finished their higher secondary education in the science stream or who have acquired an engineering diploma are eligible for this program. It also serves those who are currently employed but have had little possibility to improve their education.

In addition to this, the institute has joined hands by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HCL, a technology firm, with the aim to improve the knowledge and skills of their workforce in the HCL TECH BEE section.

As of now, IIIT Kottayam offers its MTech program in various specialisations including Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Cyber Security and Computer Science and Engineering. Admission is done based on marks secured in the qualifying entrance exam.
