- The greenery in the campus around which makes us feel like yesss we have done something to achieve this.
- The academic teachers are very polite and humble .
Dislikes
- Distance of campus from the city due to which if we need something we need go outside which is far from campus.
- Much restrictions which maybe good for college perspective but feels very bad for us
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is far better as far as of now . Im opting computer science and engineering. We are going through subjects like universal human values too which help us to be a good man which is a important thing . And the coding the main thing is the leading thing of our country. There are exams 2 times in a semester one is mid sem and other is end sem . And there are 2sem in a year.
Likes
- Hostel rooms are big enough , 3 students share a single room and each room is occupied with bed , table chair and a cupboard also a balcony.
- Mess food is decent enough and the quality keeps on increasing.
Dislikes
- New hostels should be built to increase the intake of students
- Attendance criteria of 75% is concerning as we get very less free time in first year .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum in first year is physics chemistry maths only but we have electronics lab and universal human values also comunication skills which are some of the most valuable courses which prepare us for real world . Area of improvement can be done in reducing the pressure from the students of assignments and labs , also attendance . The exams and of moderate level , anyone who prepared for jee well can do them and score good marks.

Dislikes
- The course structure is bit irrelevantt.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum of first year is less relevant but over all the course curriculum is ok. The exam difficulty level is normal. The curriculum prepares you for placements. The assignments should be decreased.

- It has gym facility which helps a lot in staying fit
- College has sports facilities along with indoor sports facilities.
Dislikes
- We currently don't have an auditorium hall
- Some faculties don't have much experience
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is good and according to the modern industry needs as our electives like cyber security ans machine learning is very good and needed in future technologies. Some program electivelike compiler design are good in further studies but not needed in industries and markets.

- Permanent campus and green lush campus but for first year you can go before 10 pm for freshers
- Good hostel facility mess food for the first year student is quite bad but when we go in 2nd year in chitagni hostel then we will get best food
Dislikes
- It is 15 km away from the city una that is the problem for students
- Travelling and it is not in the Himachal I mean in the mountains

IT is one of the best branches that's why I picked it The curriculum is quite good. In 5-6 days we go in the lab and experimented the things that they taught us and our seniors were supportive and quite good
Likes
- Highly Qualified Faculty and Research Experience. The teaching method frequently incorporate practical applications , which help in understanding concepts easily.
- IIIT Una is having a strong placement record. CDC (Career Development Cell) is working very hard. Many Companies are coming to campus.
Dislikes
- As IIIT Una is new IIIT so Incomplete and Underdeveloped Infrastructure.
- In some cases, there might be logistical challenges or lack of support for student run events.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Focus on Modern Technologies. One complete sem is for internship. You can choose Stream electives after 2nd year with which you can learn about other stream subjects as well. Project based learning : Every sem student is asked to work on projects under faculties.
Likes
- Location is good for exploring himachal pradesh. Nearby we can find good tourist spots.
- Una is a decent place with quite atmosphere.
Dislikes
- Placements are not upto the mark. They need to be better.
- Faculty give grades on how they know the students. Many faculty are seen doing this.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is good. However, it can be much better. The 8th semester is completely dedicated to internship. However, CSE, starts with coding in the second semester, which is late according to most of the students. The rest of the first and second semesters have basic sciences courses. Core subject courses start from the third semester. 75% of attendance criteria are strictly followed. 2 mid-term exams are there along with 1 end sem. Weightage: 20+20+40+20.
Likes
- Clubs( we have around 10-12 clubs and they organise at least an event every weekend)
- Sports facilities are exceptional ( only con is no specific coaches,we have a pti)
Dislikes
- Not much connectivity to the city, campus is 8km away from main city and the Una city is also not much developed, there arent many clubs or dj's, only a few that too 20 km away from the college
- Very strict attendance policy, all medical leaves, family functions, personal absents etc are to be included under the 25% criteria. Though you are to be complete your left out classes after end sems, it does feel kinda hectic
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course bcuz of the rapidly growing demand of ai and computer related technologies in today's workforce. Talking about the student to faculty ratio, its around 15:1 and most of the faculties are phd holders, leaving aside a few all the teachers have great teaching skills and actually have the desires and commitment to transfer their knowledge to the students, exams are also conducted approximately every 2 months, they are as followed, ut, ct, end sems, the ut and ct are of 8 and 20 marks so they are not that stressfull, u can score more than average ny studying the night before.

- Senior- junior interaction as senior are chill and happy to guide you
- Some of faculties are really good help in your studies
Dislikes
- Sometimes mess food is not eatable and below average
- Some faculties are really not good at touching
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is fine. Not much subjects which are unrelated to your career except in first year. Faculty are mostly young . Ratio is 1:13. Exams are conducted 3 times a semester CT 1,2 and end sem.
Likes
- I like the behavior of the faculty members and the staff and the guards. They all are very understanding to us.
- We have a certified schedule for the mass timing when we have to eat breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.
Course Curriculum Overview:
the student to teacher ratio stand approximately 15:1 with a majority of teacher holding ph D degrees. Faculty is well designed and relevant which makes us industry ready. The evaluation of exam is based on relative grading system which is awesome.

IIIT Una offers a M.Tech. with a specialization in computer science and engineering. The course has a duration of 2 years. Eligibility to do M.Tech is that candidates must be B.Tech graduate with 60% aggregate marks from a recognised college or university. The final admission is based on a merit score and counselling in GATE or CCMT. The annual fee for this course is INR 1,15,800 (annually).
Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) are the three undergraduate specialisations offered in the four-year BTech programme at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Una. The four-year course is divided into 8 semesters, and the total fee for the B.Tech course at IIIT Una is INR 9.65 lakh. The first-year fee is INR 2.45 lakh. Followed by INR 2.40 lakh for the next 3 years.
