- Location is good for exploring himachal pradesh. Nearby we can find good tourist spots.
- Una is a decent place with quite atmosphere.
Dislikes
- Placements are not upto the mark. They need to be better.
- Faculty give grades on how they know the students. Many faculty are seen doing this.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
Tution fees are okay as the institute is self-dependent. Hostels are also good, so hostel fees are also justified. The complete cost including hostel and mess fees is around 13.5 lakhs. Central and State scholarships are there, but only for reserved categories or EWS sections.

- Clubs( we have around 10-12 clubs and they organise at least an event every weekend)
- Sports facilities are exceptional ( only con is no specific coaches,we have a pti)
Dislikes
- Not much connectivity to the city, campus is 8km away from main city and the Una city is also not much developed, there arent many clubs or dj's, only a few that too 20 km away from the college
- Very strict attendance policy, all medical leaves, family functions, personal absents etc are to be included under the 25% criteria. Though you are to be complete your left out classes after end sems, it does feel kinda hectic
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The tution fee though high can be reduced using many scholarships like nsp, all state scholarships and many others. The net cost of four years comes around 13 lakhs. This covers many equipments and items that are provided to you by the college during your stay as the money is deducted from your mess advance.

- Sometimes mess food is not eatable and below average

There is no hike in fees. The fees is fixed for four year for a particular batch you can see that on the website. Total fees is 13.6 lakh for our batch. Scholarships are either provided by central govt or state govt. On basis of income and category.

- I like the behavior of the faculty members and the staff and the guards. They all are very understanding to us.
- We have a certified schedule for the mass timing when we have to eat breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

The fee structure for B.Tech. programme at IIIT Una for 2023-2027 includes two types of fees: Institute Fees(125000) and Hostel Fees(43190), both are to be paid per semster. Unlike NITs,IITs, there are no direct scholarships provided by IIITs. But, one can opt for different Government Scholarships at the Central or State level as per your eligibilty.

- The Food quality is very good in the hostels . Although everyone complains about the food in collages but its food is good.
- The placements are really good in the newly established campus.

- The collage campus is preety inside a village and is not around towns.
- Not a great place to rome around and enjoy. because it is situated in a small village side area.

The fees structure is a bit harsh at this iiit. A semester fees including hostel and mess can go upto 1.6 lakh per semester. The hike is minimal as the next batch had to pay only 5000 extra . The institute provide scolarships like NSP and other state scolarships also which is good for underpaid parents.

The fee structure is a little bit higher but it is a public-private partnership organisation so It's usual. However, there are various scholarship opportunities as well. you will get the scholarship based on financial status, caste, and region. The status of the internship and placement is pretty well. IIIT Una offers the Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Scholarships for SC Students (TCS). With the help of this scholarship, SC students will be able to continue their studies after the 12th grade. It pays for full-time course tuition at universities approved by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The qualifying candidates need to fulfil the institution's requirements for admission and have a family income of less than Rs. 8.00 lakh per year. If granted, the scholarship lasts until the end of the course, provided the student does well enough.
The scholarships offered to the students at IIIT Una is given by Central Govt and you need to apply at National Scholarship Portal. However, the date for application to apply for scholarships is already over by January 15th 2024 for this academic year. However, the new registration will begin by November 2024.
