Highly Qualified Faculty and Research Experience. The teaching method frequently incorporate practical applications , which help in understanding concepts easily.
IIIT Una is having a strong placement record. CDC (Career Development Cell) is working very hard. Many Companies are coming to campus.

Dislikes

As IIIT Una is new IIIT so Incomplete and Underdeveloped Infrastructure.
In some cases, there might be logistical challenges or lack of support for student run events.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Scolarships are easily available. Loans are also available. Institute fees is around Rs 1,20,000 per sem Hostel fees is around Rs. 43.500 per sem Total is around Rs. 3,27,000 per year. SC/ST and State scolarships can also be availed.

The Food quality is very good in the hostels . Although everyone complains about the food in collages but its food is good.
The placements are really good in the newly established campus.

Dislikes

The collage campus is preety inside a village and is not around towns.
Not a great place to rome around and enjoy. because it is situated in a small village side area.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure is a bit harsh at this iiit. A semester fees including hostel and mess can go upto 1.6 lakh per semester. The hike is minimal as the next batch had to pay only 5000 extra . The institute provide scolarships like NSP and other state scolarships also which is good for underpaid parents.

This college has beautiful and big campus we can say better campus having in comparison of some nit also.
Has good faculty who have completed PhD and mtech from iit and nit

Dislikes

You can not go outside after 10:00 pm in night
There is seventy five percent attendance compulsory

This college has high fees as academic cost of this college two lakh fifty thousand per year and hostel fee eighty six thousand three hundred eighty so it may be a reason to think about it, but if you apply for central or state scholarship as nsp , you may get scholarship given by government

Campus is lush green and you will enjoy the sports facility here.
Labs and Classrooms are well equipped with all facilities.

Dislikes

Connectivity is poor especially at night.
Campus placement is not upto the mark and needs improvement

Fee are similar when compared to other engineering college that is 3.4 Lakh per year including the college fee and hostel fee. Yes, the institute assists you in getting scholarships from the central and state goverment.

Multiple playgrounds for all kind of sports
Fests and campus life is good. Facilities are also better

Campus is situated far from the main city.
College has a little bit hectic schedule

Fees and Financial Aid:

This is actually one of the major problem for studying here as the fees structure is really very high here. The overall (tution+hostel+mess) fees is 3 lakh 40 thousand per year. And remember there is no scope for any waiver or scholarship from the college side. Banks also provide loans only upto 7.5 lakhs without security for this college. Scholarships which are provided by the state or central government are available only according to your eligibility. Although college provides you the internship in the 6th sem and promising placements after the graduation.

Campus sanitation is very good compared to other colleges
There is well equipped gym and and a well equipped music and dance room.

Dislikes

Campus is small as compared to IITs and nits.
Campus is very distant any city and is not very easily accessible.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees are quite high one semester's fee is nearly 125000 and increases over a period. There is a loan facility available as State Bank India has one of its branches inside the campus. Scholarships to meritorious students are given from time to time.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure of our college is suitable. It has approx 1.8 lakhs of tuition fees and 80 thousand of the hostel and mess fees for a year. The college provides scholarships and SBI loans are easy to get here with less interest for the students.

I liked that most of the faculty seem pretty good in their field.
Roommates were drawn randomly and I got pretty good roommates.

Dislikes

There is no emergency ambulance facilities in the college.
The orientation program was too long. Classes could have started a bit earlier if it wasn't too long.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure is 13-14 lakhs and it is pretty good for a middle-class family. The college also offers loans for every student which is very helpful. The scholarships for students are OBC, ST and SC.

One year institute fees=245000 One year hostel and mess fee= 88000 Institute did not provide any type of scholarship from their side. But you can avail of scholarships from the state or central government side. You can get on-campus placement in our college. Almost 90% percent of students were placed last year. Some students also crack big MNCs.

Which should I take for engineering - physics at DTU or electronics and communication at IIIT Una?

Both of the colleges have their own specialties. It depends on your purpose for doing any of the mentioned courses. One of my friends graduated from DTU and he mentioned a few points about the same which may be helpful for you-

If your focus is on taking a decent job after graduation or earning money, opt for other options than physics.
But if you have your interest in the field of research in physics or you want to do your higher studies in the field of physics, then go for Engineering in Physics.
My friend from the physics branch in DTU straight away mentioned that the physics department in DTU doesn’t have decent placement opportunities, be it the on-campus placement or off-campus placement.
ECE being a practical-oriented subject has a lot of demand in the industry.
Also after graduating with ECE, you can sit for placements of both core companies and IT firms. Thus there will be a lot of job opportunities.
Half of the students who have enrolled themselves on the physics branch were misled and the other half was too sure and passionate about this branch.
Whereas, ECE at IIIT UNA can provide you with a good job right after you graduate.
