I liked the fact this is in himachal pradesh so there are lots of hills and stuff you can visit lot of beutiful places nearby

Dislikes

Some times taking leaves in very difficult, cannot go home anytime for long duration.
The campus life is a little bit strict and you have to maintain discipline everywhere in the campus

Hostel rooms are big enough , 3 students share a single room and each room is occupied with bed , table chair and a cupboard also a balcony.
Mess food is decent enough and the quality keeps on increasing.

Dislikes

New hostels should be built to increase the intake of students
Attendance criteria of 75% is concerning as we get very less free time in first year .

Permanent campus and green lush campus but for first year you can go before 10 pm for freshers
Good hostel facility mess food for the first year student is quite bad but when we go in 2nd year in chitagni hostel then we will get best food

Dislikes

It is 15 km away from the city una that is the problem for students
Travelling and it is not in the Himachal I mean in the mountains

Year-wise fee of 346000 The tution fee is 130000 per sem 5 thousand for the security deposit Scholarships are available for ST, SC students But if you are from Gen or some category then you can apply for state scholarships and the national scholarship portal.

I like the behavior of the faculty members and the staff and the guards. They all are very understanding to us.
We have a certified schedule for the mass timing when we have to eat breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

The fee structure is a little bit higher but it is a public-private partnership organisation so It's usual. However, there are various scholarship opportunities as well. you will get the scholarship based on financial status, caste, and region. The status of the internship and placement is pretty well. Very Strict rules on 75% attendance, it is compulsory no matter what.
Some times taking leaves in very difficult, cannot go home anytime for long duration.

Our college tution fee is 250000 per year, and fees are fixed through 4 years, as same as 1st year it was. No hikes in fees after admission. There are various scholarships and fee waivers for specific or reserved candidates or EWS candidates here.

Among IIIT Una and IET Lucknow, IT at IET Lucknow can be considered a better choice, mostly due to the reason of connectivity. There are several aspects that prefer an institute over the other in this case, some of which are listed below to help students make a decision.

IET Lucknow is a much more established and well-known college among the two and is also top-notch in terms of infrastructure and facilities. It is one of the best institutes in Uttar Pradesh too.
One prime disadvantage of IIIT Una is that it does not have a permanent campus to date. The classes and labs are held at the campus of NIT Hamirpur.
Although the weather of Harimpur is much more soothing than that of Lucknow, the bad connectivity of Harimpur creates a lot of problems for students. For students of other states, it will take at least a day to reach home from the hostel of NIT Hamirpur.
In terms of education and placement, both the institutes are almost at the same level.

IET Lucknow is preferred over the other for most students. If you want to experience the weather and scenery of Himachal Pradesh, IIIT Una is a good place.
