When I got to know about this course I was astonished knowing the scope in it. It has less competition and high payouts. It has scope in government jobs as well. Teachers have experience of many years. They conduct exams in every two months

The curriculum is a bit difficult as we have a semester for four months. For every two months, exams are there and in between them, class tests and vivas are profs choice. They can take how many they want.

My first preference was some core branch but because of my percentile, i only got metallurgy department from this college. The faculty members are very good and highly qualified. Almost all phd and double graduate. Exam is conducted in form of mid semester exam and endsemester exam form .instead of it , there are all a lot of internals exam , viva and practical.

I have chosen this course because I have an interest in metallurgy material engineering. Also, the placement of this course in our college is pretty good. The highly qualified and educated teacher is there who teaches in the simplest way. 15:45 is the faculty-to-student ratio. In a total of 4 years, we have an 8-semester exam every 6 months and in between each semester, we have a mid-term exam. We have to score 40% of the marks in each subject to pass.

I am a student of "the Department of Metallurgy and materials engineering" and I know this college is quite better for this department as compared to other colleges, this year average. The package was also around 8.5 lakhs, top recruiters are Adani, Accenture, Tata Metaliks, etc. Maximum Faculties are also okay but in many cases, you have to be careful about attendance, etc. For each semester there is a mid-sem and end-sem. And do not take these exams lightly for all subjects, you have to study for some subjects like physics and maths in the first year.

The Metallurgy department here is one of the oldest in India and that was the reason for me choosing this college. The department gives ample opportunities for research also. The faculties are good and helpful. Term exams here are of moderate difficulty.

I chose this course due to my rank and my interest in chemistry, If you want to research then this is the perfect course. The faculties are great, however, the curriculum needs a few modifications and better lab equipment is there. the male-female ratio in my year was 27:4. there was one mid sem and one end sem and the passing marks in total is 50. in 100 marks 30 was for mid sem, 20 for attendance and assignments and class tests rest 50 end sem.

The faculty of our college is excellent. The top faculty in our college, clear the concept very well. Every year 2 semesters and each semester have 2 exams end sem and mid-sem. And, if you follow class and teachers' guidelines, very easy to pass the exam.
College offers a variety of scholarships to us, including the NSP and many other. The college offers subsidies to members and increase cgpas. Loans are also offered to our college's candidates. The college course fee was 160000 and I was agreed on this because I had compared a lot of the colleges and got best fee structure here.
VNIT, Nagpur and IIEST, Shibpur are two prime institutes of the nation and rank highly. Each has its own unique attractions and disadvantages. MME and ETC are highly demanded courses. Students must compare both the programs and colleges carefully. The decision depends on an individual’s capabilities and expectations from college life.
Having friends studying in both the colleges, It is suggested that you go for NIT Jamshedpur metallurgy would prove to be a better option because the placement records of the college are pretty good.

Both colleges are good in their own ways. They can also be considered a good option for your education only after good research is being made in regard to your requirements. Ultimately it is your choice, but due to its locational advantage, I will suggest you go for NIT Jamshedpur.
