Course Curriculum Overview :

I decided to choose the department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering at IIEST and my first year experience is excellent.Thos department give you the opportunity of research in metal field.And the teacher as well as the research staff is best

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 62500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships companies are isro,Tata,jsw,Bis, pidilite Mahindra etc.and they give good stippen.If we completed their project in given time and decent cost than we have the best chance to take good pakage in their company.

Placement Experience :

It depends on the ability of students.In fourth year students are eligible for placement and in 3rd year they can apply for internships. Tcs,tata steel,jsw,pidilite,Mahindra and manyore companies are visited . 70 percentage of students are palaced . My plan is get placed in a best company at best package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees is 62500 and hostel mess fees is 32000 approx per semester.gabesu scholarship for iiestian and it's provides decent money for student education.I didn't avail for it but I applied for Alstom India Scholarship.

Campus Life :

The biggest cultural fest is REBECCA and tech fest is instruo.And there are many of department fest at IIEST. The facilities at classroom are decent there are fully air cooled rooms and sitting capacity is ok. Yes there are many indoor and outdoor sports to be held like as football, cricket volleyball basketball table tennis. Yes many societies run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

There is 3 first year boys hostel of room 45.every room are four seater.They provides one bed table almirah.and also gives a washing machine for every floor. Meal quality is decent for non veg. For veg quality of food is too bad.

Hostel Fee : INR 32000 per year

Admission :

Students can get addmission for btech course by joint entrance exam main and for foreigners dasa exam is held .The reservation benifit for these subjects whose are home state.and SC st student prsuesare very benifit.

Faculty :

Best faculty ratio.and my learning experience is very good. The faculty's credentials is ok and they approach all students by their contacts and Google classrooms. Student teacher interaction is decent.There are many youngest faculty at IIEST.

Interview Experience :

Addmission conducted by jossa and csab council.There are four rounds for jossa and 2 rounds for csab. these rounds are prepared after jee exam . eligible students can take part in counseling and get addmission.

Review on Guru Nanak Institute of Technology from one year of college experience

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.
