Likes

I like the way teachers teach and cooperate with the students. The way they explain and make us learn in the lab sessions and all.
The HRM department which takes care about the placements of the students.

The hostels are a bit bad in condition. one has to face some problems regarding stay.
The mess system is not good as the food wont be good

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is a bit difficult as we have a semester for four months. For every two months, exams are there and in between them, class tests and vivas are profs choice. They can take how many they want.

Class Size : 36Course Fees : INR 138000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I didn't do an internship till now but I do know that so many companies visit our college to provide internships and also, if you do not get an internship in any company, then profs help you in getting them.

Placement Experience :

From the seventh semester, students are eligible to get placements. there are so many companies who visit our college and give a good package. average package will be around 6-7lpa. approximately 70% of the students are being placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I dont like the tuition fee policy because if a student gets a reimbursement, he has to submit the income certificate every year to claim the fee refund for every year. if one fails to submit the certificate in the given time, he/she has to pay the full amount of money.

Campus Life :

There are annual fests like REBECA and INSTRUO which are the cultural and technical fests of the college. Apart from that every department has its own event. All types of books will be available in the library. there are sports events in the college and also sports events with other colleges. there are so many clubs in the college where students can be involved.

Hostel Facilities :

This is the main problem in college. In a room four people will be living up to the third year, in the fourth year you will be given a single room. the four sharing room will have two fans and two lights. nothing more. food is also not good.

Hostel Fee : INR 54000 per year

Admission :

The eligibility for the course and getting admission is through Jee Mains examination. you have to get the rank required to get into this college in order to come here. there are reservation benefits or different category students.

Faculty :

The faculty members are very nice. They help in any way needed will be provided by the professors. their teaching method is also so good that one can understand everything very clearly. Faculty is available anytime to us. if not physical may be on phone or email, they are always available.

Review on Guru Nanak Institute of Technology from one year of college experience

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.
