The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .

Dislikes

Getting no leaves for preparation between exams is the worst thing happening here
The teaching is very bad by some of the research oriented professors.

Likes

There are many societies and cells related to each and every domain so all the students can benefit from them.
The faculty members are really helpful. The professors do guide us and motivate us in every way possible. Even the teaching assistants are helpful.

Dislikes

The campus is really big so we need to travel a lot to go from one place to another.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not very difficult. We had fun studying about civil. The faculty members are quite helpful and encourage us to think differently. Teachers are well qualified and everyone does have a phd degree. The exams are held timely and we had our mid-semester exams recently and it was not that difficult to pass. If one studies diligently, he/she can score quite well on the exam.

Likes

The greenery in the campus, like there are trees everywhere.
The buildings, structures that are build.

Dislikes

Students from south India tend to be in groups and they prevent any other state guy to be with them.
Competition becomes too toxic sometimes .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to take up a B.Tech degree from the Department of Civil Engineering. The course is not very difficult but rather it's fun. We don't have a lot to study but whatever we study, we need to focus on that properly. Faculty members are kind and really helpful. As IITians, we start to study just a week before exams and that time is enough if we study diligently. The paper is not very difficult if you're prepared enough.

The Nalanda complex building is very nice .
Nehru meusium is a historical place , which was the old college.

Placement Experience:

The average placement in this college is 10-12 lakhs. After that highest package was 2.5 cores. The students are eligible from 3rd year for the internship. In the final year, companies offer the job to students.

I like about my college is most the beauty of the campus.
In our college all necessary things is present. We don't have to go outside of our college for anything.

Dislikes

This campus it too large and we only bicycle to ride.
Sometimes other student steal our bicycle and then we have to face trouble for classes.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are enough good. You have to maintain a CG of more than 7.5 for a decent placement. You can sit for placement in your 3rd year through the CDC. More than 300 companies have approached us. Almost all big giant companies come to our college for Hiring like Microsoft, amazon, google, facbook, zomato, swiggy and so on. Our placement percentage is 70-80%.

The thing I liked in our campus is it is a ver huge campus.
We find a lot of peace in our campus and close to nature.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked in our campus is, we cannot reach the classroom on time.

Placement Experience:

Students at IIT Kharagpur are eligible for internships from the third year of btech program and the fourth year of the dual degree program. The highest package at our college in the last year was 2.6 crore per annum. The average package is 26 LPA. I would like to get placed or startup after the degree.

Placement Experience:

If you are B. Tech students, eligibility for campus Placements is in the seventh semester and if you are dual degree m.tech students, eligibility is in the ninth semester. There are a lot of companies visiting our campus like Google, Microsoft, Apple, DE shaw, JP Morgan, Goldmann Sachs, American Express, Alphonso, Walmart, ABinBev, Honeywell, HCL, Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc. No. Of offers made is approx 2000. The highest package is 2 crore from Facebook as a software engineer. An average package is 15 lacs. There are many profiles offered like software, Data science, MT, ET, finance, management, core etc. Approx more than 80% of students get placements and the rest are not sit in placement because of going for higher studies like MS, doing startups, preparing civil services, or engaging in other things.

Remarks:

One of the top 7 IIT's in India which are already known for their rich heritage and impeccable campus life. I opted for this specific campus cause i heard about it's campus life which is the best of all IIT's. Also, probably one of the top schools to study Civil Engineering in India as a B.Tech with professors having advanced degrees.
