Placement is one of the best aspect of college. Fir 2023-24 year the average was around 28,00,000 for Information Technology branch and median was 22,00,000. Highest package was more than 1 crore. (1.03 crore)

- The Placements in the college are very good. In spite of recession the placement stats of the year 2024 are quite good i.e. 26 lakhs is the average package.
- The campus area is also good. There is a football ground , volleyball and basketball grounds also in the campus.
Dislikes
- The sports facilities are not up to the mark.
- The events are not conducted properly and not on a regular basis.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are quite good in our college. The average package goes upto 30 lakhs per annum. The students are eligible for internships from 2nd year and can apply for jobs from 3rd year according to their pereperations.So overall the placements are good in IIIT Allahabad

- The coding culture of IIIT Allahabad is really very good. Even some of my friends became 4star and 5star coder in 1st and 2nd sem only
- The college's different society do regularly conducts Hackathons and funny and interesting challenges and games based on the interest of students

- The college IIIT Allahabad is located in Jhalwa, Prayagraj. which is a remote location. This restricts the students to do their desirable things
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year onwards students are eligible for campus placements. approx each and every company visit our college and the highest package offered was 1 .04 cr as an international package this year. The average package is approx 27 lpa. Approx 90% students got placed. my plan is to build a startup.

- Technical environment of this college is very good. Coding is the main priority here.
- College infrastructure is very good, we have neat and clean hostels.
Dislikes
- Mess food is not so good, here you will have to survive otherwise you know.
- Professor are very strict here in academics and academic is also very hard.
Placement Experience:
Placement of our college is of top notch, they are comparable to IITs, students are eligible for campus placement from third year. Google, Facebook, Amazon, sprinkler etc these top companies visits here every year. Here highest package goes for 1 cr also and average has declined to 25 lpa now due to recession in market, it was 32 lpa without recession. During recession almost 80 percent student gets placed, without recession it was about 100 percent placement rate. My plan is just to join any FAANG companies during my college placement and chill for rst of life. Placement Experience:
The campus placements are very good here. The Placement Cell Team works day and night and bring good companies here. The overall median and mean package are also good. If not campus placement then I'll try for off campus opportunities.

- Coding culture of the college is great. Everyone starts codinng from the beginning of the first year
- Campus has all the infra that is required by a student. It does not have alot of amenities but it has everthing that a college student needs.
Dislikes
- Ece professors are really not helpful and also they do not take much classes and disturbs students for their project
- No matter what you do you will never be able to improve the mess food. Though it is not tge bad but it still it needs to approve.
Placement Experience:
Our college is prominently known for the campus placements. Students of third year are eligible for the two month intern opportunity and students of fourth year are eligible for the full time offer and six month intern as well. The highest package offered to the student is about 1 cr by a foreign firm and average package is nearly about 20-25 lakhs this year though it was higher previous year. Last year nearly every candidate got placed though this year only 80-85 percent of students secured placement.

- The biggest reason why people opt for this college are the placements. This college provides an average placement package of over 30 lakhs which is much more than any other college in this domain excluding the old IITs
- You will be getting all the resources, YouTube channels to study from at the beginning of the semester. Seniors most likely send all the previous year question papers. So even though the course curriculum is said to be hard, you won't find a trouble
Dislikes
- Don't expect much from the faculty. Some of them are actually good whereas you will find some that don't even know how to make concepts clear. In those scenarios you will have to rely on your peers and YouTube. You will mostly find everything online
- Campus Life is the biggest turn off. People spend hours coding sitting in their respective hostel rooms. You will hardly find anything social going on in the campus. The club's are also relatively inactive and doesn't get much funding either.
Placement Experience:
You are eligible for campus placements after you complete your 7th semester. Some students also get PPOs when they do their internships on 6th semester. On 2023-24 batch due to recession the Highest package was around 1 crore from IT-BI branch and the average was around 26 LPA. This is including all the branches. Specific IT or IT-BI will have more. Companies that have visited before include Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidea, AMD, Intel, Atlassian, Adobe, Media.net and many more. Around 130 companies visited the campus.this year. And the placement percentage was around 90% due to recession. It is usually 100% in other times. Compared to NITs that have around 60-70% placements this season it is more than appreciable.

- College has not much diversity in domain of engineering as only ECE, IT candidates are there.

The 2019-2023 batch achieved impressive placement statistics, with a median salary of 30 LPA, an average salary of 32 LPA, and the highest salary reaching 1.5 crore. Around 130 companies, including Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Media.net, conducted recruitment drives on campus, leading to successful placements for about 99% of the registered students. After completing my degree, I aspire to pursue a career as a Software Development Engineer in a leading multinational corporation to advance my professional life. Placement stats of 2019 batch is available which is very nice and top notch compared to topmost IITs as median salary is 30 lpa and average salary is 32 lpa and highest is 1.5 crore and approx 130 companies have visited the campus like Google, Amazon,Flipkart , Media.net and other top notch MNC'S and approx 99 % student got placed who have registered and my plan is to work as SDE in top MNC after getting the degree and make my pofessional corporate life more better

What is your review of IIIT Allahabad (Amethi Campus)?
IIIT Amethi is situated near a village named Tikarmafi, 10 km away from Amethi. It has its own perks. Here are some factors about the institute.
Academics:
- Both IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Amethi have the same curriculum and professors. Because of that, professors visit the Amethi campus on a daily basis.
- As almost everything is similar for both campuses, the exams are also conducted parallelly in both of them, making them at par for things related to academics.
Placements:
- Students of IIIT Amethi are shifted to the campus of IIIT Allahabad after their 4th year, securing them placements similar to the Allahabad campus.
- Needless to say, IIIT Allahabad does come with good placements. IIIT Amethi also enjoys the same privilege as placement is same for both the institutes.
Facilities and Infrastructure:
- This is exactly where you can set the contrast between the two campuses. IIIT Amethi lacks good infrastructure. It is a very compressed campus with only two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel.
- There had not been any sports facilities in the institute before. But at present, it has standard Basketball courts, a Badminton court, TT tables and a playground for cricket.
- The labs and libraries are minuscule too. It can hardly support the strength.
- Besides, you might also not find any up-to-the-mark food items around the campus, but just snacks to keep the day going.
- There’s an option to take a bus ride to visit a town nearby, Sultanpur, which helps in a way to let students escape from the everyday life at Amethi, and rather spend time in that area, or buy decent food.
IIIT Amethi does have its fair share of disadvantages but it offers good placement in top-notch MNCs such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe, etc. Also, the pros outweigh the con for IIIT Amethi.
