The semester tuition fee for jossa candidates is 80,000 INR . Mess fees is 24000 INR Lab ,Exam,hostel,water, electricity etc is 13000ONR For DASA SAARC student tuition fees is 2000$. And for DASA Non SAARC studenta tuition is 4000$. And for CIWG category it is approx 70000INR.

One of the Best colleges for B.Tech through JEE Mains

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am enrolled in Information Technology course at IIIT Allahabad. The fee was charged semester wise. The fee consist of tutuion fee, Hostel room fee (single/double) and many other charges. The fee increases each semester. On an average, for a student belonging to general category, it cost you around 80,000 per semester which means 1,60,000 anually. The tutuion fee is around 60,000 to 80,000 depending on the semester you are currently in. The tution fee is fully waived for SC/ST category students. The other charges is 7000 for double sharing room and around 14000 for single rooms. There are many scholarship provided at IIIT Allahabad. These includes National Scholarship schemes , stat wise scholarship schemes (like UP post meric ) and Merit cum scholarships based on your academic performances.

The fees hikes are not frequent or there is a very less or negligible hike from 1st to 4th year of our journey in college. Tuition fees for odd semester is between 90,000 to 1 lakh and for even semester it is 80-90 thousands. Mess charges are on average 25,000 per semester. All financial scholarship through states and all government scholarships are provided as in any other government college. Placement percentage always range between 97-100%

The highest CTC offered this year was INR 1.4 CPA.

I am a student at IIIT Allahabad. Here are a few parameters to compare these two options-

Curriculum- The IT curriculum at IIIT Allahabad is better than the CSE curriculum at MNNIT.

Study Environment- IIITA offers the best environment for studies. Its students are top coders at platforms like CodeChef, HackerEarth and HackerRank. Students of IIITA start working on projects from their 2nd year itself.

Placements- IIITA offers better placements than MNNIT. Top brands like Google visit the IIIT campus every year to recruit students.

MNNIT is a good college, but IIIT Allahabad offers top notch facilities and opportunities. I would recommend you choose IT at IIIT Allahabad over CSE at MNNIT.

MNNIT is much more famous than IIIT Allahabad. None of my relatives have heard of IIIT Allahabad. Should I join MNNIT IT instead of IT at IIIT A just because it's not so famous and less enjoyable?

One of my friends chose CSE at BIT Mesra over IT at IIIT Allahabad. However, he regretted his decision and after a month, got admission into IIIT Allahabad IT through the CSAB spot round.

BIT Mesra has a huge campus, however, its student intake is much higher as compared to IIIT Allahabad. Even in terms of location, Allahabad is a better choice than Mesra.

In terms of placements, the average package for BIT CSE stood at INR 19.27 LPA 2022. At IIIT Allahabad, the average package for B.Tech stood at INR 30.68 LPA during the same year.

The course fee is also much more affordable at IIIT Allahabad. The total course fee for B.Tech IT from IIIT Allahabad is INR 8,44,700, while at BIT, the B.Tech CSE course fee is INR 13,04,500 (does not include the hostel fees at both).

Thus, I would suggest you choose IT at IIIT Allahabad over CSE at BIT Mesra.
