Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Many companies visit the university for campus placements The software companies offer packages averaging to about 4 LPA. While core companies average about 5 LPA

- College Environment is good like see the gate of vssut burla it's almost India gate
- A lot of events occur here which give you confidence for a lot of future activities
Dislikes
- The culture of ragging although its less now but yeah it is
- The place that is burla is very small and not too much good transportation is there

The internship was a worthwhile experience and I feel that it has prepared me well for my professional career. I will take both the positive and negative aspects of the internship with me in applying for and analyzing future opportunities.”

- Hostel Life is Very Enjoying and you get to spend a different life other than your Family Life.
- The Clubs make it more interesting because there are various clubs and it provides a good platform to engage with friends
Dislikes
- The Academics is very old traditioned and you need to study by yourself in order to get good grades
- The Senior Interaction can be toxic and depressing for some people and it becomes more toxic
Internships Opportunities:
College doesn't provide any internship opportunities as in such. The students apply for internships from themselves. I did my Internship from my connections in SMS Group Pvt Ltd in Bhubaneswar, Odisha You can get projects in the internships and also projects in final year.

- The hostel food and accommodation is not so good
- Sports facilities of this college is not so good

During our second year our college has given us internship opportunities in many companies like NALCO,HAL ,RSP. and our college strictly follows 60 days internship for our campus placement.And our college used to give reference to us for our internship.

- Labs are too good it's mechanical work shop fluid lab has been awesome
- Class room are amezing which facilitates smart boards for better education
Dislikes
- Marking scheme is very strict and few teachers are very strict
- It is not closed campus so although it is good but it is not closed
Placement Experience:
Placement has been excellent in recent years students got highest package of 14Lpa in core branch and average of 7.0Lpa. and talking about other branches placement has been great as well. In mechanical engineering branch last year 97 students out of 120 has been placed I want do my higher study after graduation

- It's the oldest engineering college in odisha.
- The learning environment of this college.
Dislikes
- The sports facility is very poor in this college.
- The food and accommodation of hostel are not so good.
Internships Opportunities:
We are advised to take internship from 2nd yr starting and our college is more focused on offline internship in different companies and minimum of 60 days internship is compulsory for all to take placement.our college uesd to give refer and we apply for internship in different companies or institutions.

In our college placement is above average 80%.The average package of our college is 680000 and the minimum package is 360000 .In our college our core placement is better than software placement.So I can choose it.
Likes
- The senior junior culture is very sound and friendly
- The clubs a student can join is where he can learn practically.
Dislikes
- Odd sem are very small and students needa hurry to vomplete the syllabus
- Old infrastructure however new one is on it's construction process

Placement are quite good for the mechanical dept. With around 90% placed and an average package of 7 lpa and the highest of 14 lpa by Vedanta and othe renowned companis like maruti suzuki and jsw and tata r major recruiters

- Exam pattern and syllabus is good for students.
- College cultural fest and technical fest is good.
Dislikes
- The management system for students is low.
- Hostel food and water condition is not good.
Placement Experience:
Placement of our college students is very good. Maximum number of students placed in college campuse. 90 percentage of mechanical engineering students placed in this year. Vedanta company has offered maximum LPA .

- There are many students clubs which provides great platform to learning industrial skills
- Some faculties are amazing, helpful and understanding
Dislikes
- Some faculties are annoying and don't pay attention to students
- There is no closed campus like other old colleges
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible from 7th semester. Lot of companies comes for the placement like Maruti Suzuki, Vedanta, JSW , Aditya Birla group, Accenture, Deloitte and many more.. More than 80% students get placed. Few other goes for higher studies and competitive exam preparation.
