Likes

The university infrastructure is amazing and well maintained.
This is the only university which is popular for its oldest university.
This university have many hostels whose looks are awesome.

Dislikes

Rude behaviour of seniour is disturbing in college.
instrument in lab are too old and appear problem at lab.
some faculities are not friendly to the student.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is best for all the core branches among all other colleges in odisha.Along with curriculam the college also fococes on real world applications . The frequency of exams are quite high . the difficaulty level is medium.

Placement Experience

Our university provide a good placement. all the students are eligible for placement after 3rd semester. Companies like Infosys, Deollite Wipro comes here to offer jobs . Almost 85% of all sthe students are getting placed every year.

Campus Life

There are so many fest organised in a year and many clubs are involved in organising the fests . There is a lot of scope for sports. All the sports are available in our college. There is a big library in our college which have a lots of books.

Admission

This college is best for core electrical branch . And it is the oldest college in odisha .Veer surendra sai university have good facaulty members.Hostel facility is every one at a low price.it has good placement record from a while

Faculty

There are 4800 students and 250 teachers which make the ratio to 1:18 . Almost all the faculties of the college are liked by the students some of the are quite disturbing. There are frequent exams in the college.

Night Life

Well the night life in our college is not so good because no students are allowed outside the hostel after 6 pm.There are gym cafes and public areas nearby. nearby there are samaleswari temple,hirakud dam,ghanteswari temple are present.

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunity are here jn this campus. Average package is about 60 to 70 lpa. About 50%students get placed in these placements. Conoanirs like amazon, Microsoft, google cone for placements here. After getting this degree, i am thinking of becoming a UPSC aspirant.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. The admission process is through the OJEE COUNSELLING. It is the counselling only for the students of odisha and anyone out of Odisha appearing the OJEE examination.
