JNTUGV Campus has special student branches like IEEE, IETE and NSS.
Campus infrastructure, hostel food and environment are very good. Campus provides placement assistance for the final year students every year

Various companies recruiting from the campus

From 7th semester onwards (4 th year 1st semester) students are eligible for the campus placements. Plcement coordinated faculty members are interacted with companies to join for campus placements. Some of the software companies like Wipro, Cognigant, Infosys, Corizo etc.. and MOSCHIP related VLSI chip designing companies are visited and offered placements.

Campus internship opportunities and stipend

JNTUGV College and other government colleges are collaborated with different companies by the guidance of government through AP LMS portal/ APSCHE. In this website more than 100 companies are offered internships with the maximum fee of 250/- and some are free internships also. Coming to the stipend, not all the companies are provides stipend but some companies based on your skills.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

JNTUGV College was recently accrediated by NBA for three years in terms of college course curriculum. Course curriculum is prepared by mainly focusing the real world applications as well as higher academic pursuits.

Total fees of the course and scholarship

The fee structure of JNTUGV is 10,000 as a tution fee. If you were opt hostel for staying, the mess and hostel fee are 30,000 per year. The total fee per year is 40,000. Coming to the scholarships, Government provides 20,000 per year to every student except to the students whose parents are government employees. Pragathi scholarship is provides 10,000 for boys and 50,000 for girls whose performance is good in intermediate.

Technical festivals are held every year and different places are conducted in different dates. The names of the tech fests are ECE- ecentra CSE- cresence EEE- eclitique IT- IT yukta CIVIL- pratista MECH- mechano METALLURGY- eisen and annual events like ALL-GO-RHYTHM etc..

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

Hostel facilities are very good and the mess is runned by the hostel students only there is no warden in mess premises. Meal quality is good and coming to the menu, morning tiffin and tea, afternoon lunch, evng milk and tea and night dinner.

Faculty are always available to clarify our doubts. If the student is interested to learn something new, faculty members are guide them like how to approach their ineterested domain. Faculty are Mentor the students to conduct some events like Project expo and some technical events to ineteract with other college students also.

What is the admission process of the campus?

The entrance exam to get admission in JNTUGV is AP EAPCET. AP EAPCET is conducted every year tentatively in the month of April or May. The registartion fee for AP EAPCET is 550/-. The cut off rank is different for different branches. For CSE- Below 6K, ECE- Below 15K, EEE- Below 25K, IT- Below 30K, CIVIL- Below 90K, MECH- Below 1L, METALLURGY- Below 1L (reservations also available)

Away from pollution and sounds makes a pleasant environiment
Can participate in many extra circular activities.
Anyone can get lot of time to enjoy and learn

College locates in city outskirts which makes difficult to get any items out from college
Transportation facilities not available to the college.
College medical dispensary is not well maintained.

As JNTU Vizianagaram is a government univeristy, it has good reputation, certificate is very valuable from a govt institute. And also provides good placements compared to private institues and fee structure is too affordable compared to private institues.

Infrastructure: has a great infrastructure, has a gym for people to workout and playgrounds to play basketball,vollyball, kabaddi and cricket as well
Cultural events: college conduts cultural events like republic day , independence day celebration and also conducts jntu premier league and includes all sports activities in those tournament.

Admission:

College has good infrastructure and provides us good time to explore ourselves in the cultural activities that they held. It has a big library has almost all the books related to the courses they offer which provide an extra edge for students who prepare for gate exam . Cultural events and sports days are also held which help students who are interested in sports to showcase our talents

We can get through EAPCET entrance exam to this college after counselling process ,after pursuing 12 th class.cut off for ECE branch for this test is around 12000 rank in the entrance exam.I have got this college in the counseling where I have selected jntuk college.

Secondly, I like the Library in my university. It looks pleasant and I like to read many books in my library but unfortunately my library books collection is so bad there are no good books to read but the library environment is also nice.

Admission:

In my college list i mainly prefer goverment Universities first. First i choose andhra university and then I choose JNTU universities in different branches like kakinada vizianagaram etc. because in my inter college my teachers told to achieve a seat in government Universities like JNTU and au. So I firstly prefered government Universities then I prefered private universities which are near to my village like Vishnu College of engineering etc.. Among those government Universities I got a seat in JNTU GV university in VIZIANAGARAM.
