What's New in VSSUT?
VSSUT BTech admission 2024 is based on the OJEE scores. The OJEE exam 2024 has been concluded and the result for the same is likely to be released in the third week of June 2024. Other major updates for VSSUT are as follows:
- VSSUT MSc, Integrated MSc, and MTech program admissions 2024 are currently ongoing. The last date to apply for the same is on June 10, 2024.
- PhD program admissions 2024 for the Autumn session is also going on. The last date to fill the online application is May 31, 2024.
- Additionally, the institute also accepts BTech admissions on the basis of JEE Main score. The JEE Mains result 2024 has been declared.
VSSUT is known for its flagship program of B.Tech which is being offered in 10 specializations. For the B.Tech admissions at VSSUT, candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main or OJEE examination and participate in the OJEE counseling for final seat allotments. VSSUT charges a fee of INR 91,280 per year for its B.Tech program.

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) offers a Bachelor’s degree in Technology under 11 different specialization subjects with a duration of 4 years. The university also offers 5 years Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech course under two different specializations.
Admission to B.Tech. courses of the University are based on the merit in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. of Odisha. The application process for Odisha JEE starts in the month of March every year. Candidates can apply online application for Odisha JEE.

VSSUT Odisha M.Tech Admission 2023
VSSUT offers M.Tech programme under 20 different specializations with the a duration of two years. The intake capacity of each M.Tech programme is 18 seats.
Selection for admission to any M.Tech programme is done on the basis of scores obtained in GATE. For the leftover seats, the college accepts direct admission, selection for which is done on the basis of scores secured in B.Tech or Equivalent Examination.
Key Points:
- SC/ST candidates are considered separately for seats reserved for the purpose
- If a candidate is interested to apply for M.Tech Admission in more than one discipline/specialization (Department), then he/she has to submit separate applications with requisite fees. In no case, any candidate shall be considered more than one department with one application. Admission shall be carried out strictly according to the merit and choice of specializations chosen during the submission of the application.

VSSUT Odisha M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc. And MCA Admission 2023
The University offers various Postgraduate level courses in different fields of Science and Technology.
The M.Sc programme is provided with three different specializations for which the course period is two years, whereas, the MCA programme is offered for a period of three years. A 5 years Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc programme is also provided by VSSUT.
Admission to the M.Sc. courses are made through an open selection process through academic career evaluation. The evaluation of candidates for the purpose of admission will be based on merit of High Secondary and Graduation or Equivalent level.

Student those who are selected through JEE/OJEE/Univ. entrance examination for taking admission into various courses of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla are required to register online through the link available in the official website of VSSUT

- Its a scenic Place where the college is situated the almighty Hirakud dam which controls the flow of mahanadi is on the back of the campus exactly 4kms distance is there

The eligibility of the course is u should have 60 percent in ur boards with pcm as ur compulsory subjects. Vssut will notify u about the entrance exams on their website: vssut.ac.in U will have to fill the form which cost : rs1000 Once the merit list is out u will fill the form for counseling at rs500 After counseling u have to pay the fees. There are total 18 seats for each department of science from which 3 seats are reserved for sc/st category. The entrance test is not so hard if u r thorough with ur 12th boards.

- I liked the infrastructure of the college and it is so education friendly The placement opportunities are also very good.
- The labs are well equipped with new to moderately old machines.
Dislikes
- The only thing i dislike here is the short span of semesters like 3-4 months Max.
Admission:
You can get admission into this university through Jee mains or OJee. The counselling process of ojee starts in june-july. Reservation is provided from SC, ST based on caste reservation and there are some more reservation policies here which you can read on the online website of college which include government school reservation, single girl child reservation and some more. The admission process after the counselling is easy and seamless as the in-charge helps out when you contact them about any doubts or issue.

Candidates need to qualify JEE MAIN with good rank Application form I find in JEE site Exam held on each 6 month and difficulty level was moderate to high They need to improve their site and organise the thing so that it will be easy for candidates

- There are several clubs in the university which provides a exposure. It conducts several events where students take part actively

- The teaching methods used by the faculties are too traditional and outdated in today's world.
- The infrastructure is quite basic since its one of the oldest technical institutions in the state
Admission:
Students who are willing to take admission in the university need to appear for the JEE examination and then apply for OJEE counselling. The cut-off for branches like CSE, IT and ETC can be quite high but if you have reservations they it may increase your chances little bit. There are reservation benefits for categories like EWS, SC and ST. There are other categories like Outlying Odia(OL), State Government School(SGS), Green Card(GC).

The eligibility was more than 85 percentile in JEE mains. You can fill the form in OJEE councelling website and reservation is given for SC/ST category. The area of improvement would be if they could reduce the reserved seats.

Hello juniors, it is a great experience for me to share my selection process for VSSUT,BURLA. First of all you have to clear JEE Main Entrance exam with minimum 70 percentile,if you are dreaming for circuital or Code branch then 90 percentile must,then you have to appear for OJEE Councelling. On appearing OJEE COUNCELLING you have to give the colleges names then wait for the selection round,as my first choice is VSSUT so I got the college at 85 percentile then I got the call from the college for admission and it tooks exactly one day to reach sambalpur as I from Puri and spend 1-2hrs to complete the registration process in a smooth manner. All the necessary documents are being provided before the registration process as soon as you got any government college.

I had appeared for jee mains exam and I got enough percentile to get into vssut . My percentile was 83 which is enough to get me into any decent branch but I opted for chemical engineering as it was in my field of interest. College had called us for the admission process and it was good and smooth . We were told to sit and wait for our names to be called. After the admission process is done we were told to visit the campus. Eligibility of the course is if you have secured more than 60 percentile in jee mains for general category... Also if you have secured more than 75% in your 12th board exams . As I havent availed any reservation benefits but I can tell you there are certain reservation benefits that you can avail like TFW , SC/St , female , etc...
Admission:
Admission was through JEE percentile. Application was OJEE. Admission proceess was good.The college is having a minimum criteria of 55% in pcb. After that you are eligible to attend the entrance exam which helds twice a year. But you only allowed to gite the exam once in each course. The cut-off is around 75 percentile
