I'm in physics department and the syllabus of our department is very much relevant to the entrance exams that u r going to appear after ur completion like net, gate etc. . U have to do self study more than depending upon the classes. Exams are not that tough if u do a regular self study of even one hour.

Considering my course that is btech from electronics and telecommunication engineering, the syllabus is recently updated and the syllabus follows the gate syllabus fully. Also there are more additional subjects like fir example in my 6th semester a subject DIP digital image processing was there which was so interesting. So yeah the syllabus is good and competitive. The two main exams are midsem and endsems.

By conducting several laboratory sessions where they teach about real life use cases and applications which is a very good approach. Each Semester 2 exams are conducted i.e Mid Semester Exam and the difficulty level is in between easy to moderate and is very scoring. The End Semester exam's difficult level is in between moderate to difficult.

The course was somewhat hectic. Being the covid baatch the first year was hectic. The improvement could be done in the practical aspects. The exams were scheduled in every three months for mid term and 6 months for semester.

In VSSUT there are almost 15-16 branches. My branch is chemical as it fascinates me more to know about it ,there is also a great scope in VSSUT for all branches if you really work hard. Every branch is perfect but for VSSUT mechanical branch is the most powerful one as it provides variety of option in different fields, also this branch gives more placement rates than other branches but don't think that all other branches are not good , all branches provide 7lpa as average so good to study with minimum fees. As I am first year btech student for me college fees is 42,000/- per year and if you avail hostel you have to give 48,000/- per year. Faculty members are all great...they are cooperative and clears all your doubts, if you are in circuital branch then their faculty members are very neat with their work so you have to up to date and all other branch faculty are great ????.

The course curriculum is really good . As I have opted for chemical engineering so it's going to br taught to us from 2nd year . Being a first year student I liked our professor as they are very helpful. But there are indeed certain professor who are tough to deal but with polite and gentle talking they can also be helpful. The exams that are conducted here are moderate level . So if you study 1-2hr everyday then you can Ace in exams . As the professor here are tough with us so they are already preparing us for the corporate world
The curriculum is very useful. In the 1st year the students are taught basic physics, mathematics, chemistry, business communication and human values for the betterment of the individual. Every student can relate to the topics as they are taught from the basics.
VSSUT is a great place for UG studies. But a degree from this college isn’t sufficient in most cases. So it is usually better to opt for higher studies at a prestigious college.
Make sure to go for a branch that interests you. This does play a huge role in deciding your career prospects.
