Course Description
Student those who are selected through JEE/OJEE/Univ. entrance examination for taking admission into various courses of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla are required to register online through the link available in the official website of VSSUT
- Visit the website of the Institute, http://www.vssut.ac.in/
- Register yourself through phone number and email id.
- After successfully online registration, students will be facilitated to download/print his/her online application.
- An auto generated application code will be generated for further references.
- The interested candidates may download the application form available in the University Website and submit a hard copy of the signed completed application alongwith non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of,
VSSUT, Burla payable at SBI, Burla (Code - 2034) or Syndicate Bank (Code - 8062) and send the same by Speed Post only so as to reach the Dean, PGS & R, VSSUT, Burla before the last date of submission
- The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for Programme” along with the name of the Department (Specialization) as applicable.

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) offers a Bachelor’s degree in Technology under 11 different specialization subjects with a duration of 4 years. The university also offers 5 years Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech course under two different specializations.
Admission to B.Tech. courses of the University are based on the merit in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. of Odisha. The application process for Odisha JEE starts in the month of March every year. Candidates can apply online application for Odisha JEE.

The course was somewhat hectic. Being the covid baatch the first year was hectic. The improvement could be done in the practical aspects. The exams were scheduled in every three months for mid term and 6 months for semester.

In the First year of Btech every branch have same subjects, Divided in Odd and Even Semesters , Curriculum also prepares for real world , as of labs present for almost each subject.! The timing of exams of first year are in 4 -5 months .!

I was attracted to the comprehensive coverage of fundamental engineering principles such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and solid mechanics, which form the backbone of mechanical engineering. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits in mechanical engineering through several key elements:Practical Projects,Internships and Co-op Programs, laboratory work, research oppertunity. The exams should be conducted atleast in 6 months.

- The college campus is a little small for and University.
- It should have a closed campus with all the infrastructures

Institutionally vssut is one of the best college for a student because it has the best educational curriculum and has highly qualified faculty. • I choose to persuing my BTECH as Mechanical branch because I have great interest in mechanics and cars. • Faculty student ratio 1: 5 • Highly qualified faculty and they have great teaching experience. • Exam difficulty level is Moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have chosen this course for my interest in machines, and automobiles. Faculty are top notch and boys: girls ratio is 3:1. Almost all facilities are PhD holders and their teaching methods are quite impressive. In between a semester exam, a mid-semester exam is conducted and to passing scenario is about 40%.

I chose this course because according to me engineers play a huge role in forming different parts of society. I chose the Mechanical engineering branch by choice. The faculty-to-student ratio is perfect. Every faculty member is highly qualified either with an MTech or a PHD degree. We get ample amount of time for our exams.

I chose this course due to my keen interest in mechanical Engineering. Also, there is good placement in core branches. The student: Faculty ratio is 1:10. Exams are done properly and timely mid-sem and end sem and difficulty is average

Course Curriculum Overview:
VSSUT provide excellent faculty members. The faculties qualified from IITs or NITs share their immense experience to the students with full support and cooperation. The four-year BTech program is split into eight semesters and each semester contains two examinations, mid semester and end-semester. Full support from faculty members, therefore no need to worry about the examination, if the students study hard and make their concepts clear, they can easily maintain a cgpa of 8 or more throughout their academic year.
