Admission:
I did not apply for any other college, because I was confident that I will get a seat here at VSSUT based in my JEE Mains Percentile score. The admission process starts with applying in the portal link given in the website, where we pay 10000 to confirm our seats. Then we need to attend the university for document verification and admission on a date specified by the university

- College Environment is good like see the gate of vssut burla it's almost India gate
- A lot of events occur here which give you confidence for a lot of future activities

- The culture of ragging although its less now but yeah it is
- The place that is burla is very small and not too much good transportation is there

Admission procedure is simple that is Jee mains and ya Ojee exam also but jee mains is the best way to get it . I didn't choose outr or igit as placement in core branches of those colleges are not that good then vssut.

- Hostel Life is Very Enjoying and you get to spend a different life other than your Family Life.
- The Clubs make it more interesting because there are various clubs and it provides a good platform to engage with friends
Dislikes
- The Academics is very old traditioned and you need to study by yourself in order to get good grades
- The Senior Interaction can be toxic and depressing for some people and it becomes more toxic

I applied for different government colleges in Odisha but got this college because of my JEE Mains Ranking. I had only this college in my mind because my friend was studying here. I simply put my choices in the ojee counseling and got this college. My college admission process is simple as it is under ojee counselling and you just have to fill the choices.We give jee mains to get this college and there are multilple cutoffs according to the branch you choose. It changes Every year.

- The hostel food and accommodation is not so good

As this is the oldest engineering college of Odisha since 1956 .the placement of this college is very good mainly the core branches placement than the non core branches placement.The campus of this college is also great and you can get into to this college through JEE mains and OJEE.

- Labs are too good it's mechanical work shop fluid lab has been awesome
- Class room are amezing which facilitates smart boards for better education

- Marking scheme is very strict and few teachers are very strict
- It is not closed campus so although it is good but it is not closed

I choose this college because of its infrastructure and it's reputation. Reputation of veer surender Sai University of technology is been great Then core branches in VSSUT has been great one of the oldest core branches.

This college is the Oldest engineering college of odisha since 1956.The alumini network of this college is very strong and the campus placement drive is very good. About 85 % students gets placed.The facilities of this college is also very good .

In odisha VSSUT BURLA is the oldest and most preferable college.In placement section Vssut burla is better than the other colleges.We can get admission through JEE MAIN AND OJEE examination you can admission through LE OJEE.

- The clubs a student can join is where he can learn practically.

- Odd sem are very small and students needa hurry to vomplete the syllabus
- Old infrastructure however new one is on it's construction process

I choosed this collage over other collage because it proveds a better surrounding and environment for studies and moreover the core dept. Of this collage are better then any other collage in my place of preference.

- The management system for students is low.
- Hostel food and water condition is not good.

This college is the first and oldest engineering college of odisha. The reputation and INR is also good than other colleges. The placement and job opportunities is better than other colleges. So I choose the college.

I preferred this college because it is the first and oldest engineering college of our state Odisha. This college has huge alumini network spreaded all over the world. College provides all major lab facilities.
