The students join in large numbers in this college because of better placements only. They are aware of the same before admission. There is a placement cell called CGPC on the campus which consists of students from the final year. They take care of the students' placement needs. There are many companies like BAIF, Pradan, Kudumbshree, Rajivika, Bihar SRLM, MP SRLS, ORMAS, OLM, Antra, APF, etc. 100% of students get placed from all the courses. Some students of SIE go for establishing their own business enterprise and they do not sit for placements, some want to go for higher studies. Those who wish to get a job all get a job.
Here placement is only for Masters students and the placement starts from the final semester, bachelor students do have placement but it comes in the form of fellowships as a teacher post such as teach for India, Gandhi fellowship, and a few more. The highest package was 15 lakhs this year and usually, around 80% get placement.
Campus placement is good. Placement will start in December. There is a team called Career Guidance and Placement Cell which will take care of every student and they will do their best to bring the companies and try to achieve 100% placement as soon as possible.
Here 100 percent of students get the placement, In the last year, 3 students had met the placement for 15 lakh per year. College provides different placements for Courses From different courses.
The campus placement is provided by the constant effort by the placement team that is chosen by the students themselves. But due to the current situation, placement opportunities were lessened up making some students struggle for job opportunities.

According to the 2020 placement report, one in every five students of the batch got a salary above 25 lakhs with the median salary of the batch being 20.25 lakhs against a course fee of 1.15 lakhs making it an unparalleled institute when it comes to placements with a very strong ROI.

College is great, administration is supportive. Clubs in college are student run, do various activities you ll get tired but activities won't end.
This institution is considered to be one of the best institution for social work and is rated 1 in top 10 in India. Also, TISS is the first institution that started social work as a discipline, and has well experienced professionals.
This is a 3 year master’s course and has 17 seats. Students must apply with the score of the entrance exam conducted by TISS which is a 100 mark test and based on those scores only students are granted admission however, 66% seats are reserved for north eastern students.
