-Eligibility criteria for this course was minimum 55 percentage in 10th & 12th and 60% in under graduation. -Application form, fees and dates can be found on JBIMS official website under the courses tab > under MHRD tab -50% seats are reserved for backward class Total strength is 30 students as of now -MHRD accepts CET score, the difficulty level of exam is easy but maintaining speed and accuracy is game changer in this -MHRD also used to conduct it's own entrance for HR course consisting of 5 sections; numerical ability, general awareness, and psychometric test. This test is easy when one has the kanck for HR. -After the written test there is 300 word SOP round and GDPI for selection rounds which are quite rigorous.

The admission process for JBIMS MHRD is quite well organized. The college releases all the information related to admission process on its official website. It accepts CAT/CET/JBIMS entrance exam score for MHRD course. A candidate clearing the cut off along with minimum 60% across all academic years will be given a call by the college for GDPI WAT process. I had appeared through my CET score and had my GDPI WAT on the same day at the college premise. The admission process was quite swift. They considered CET score for shortlisting candidates and also JBIMS has its own entrance test. I did not appear as it was optional. Post shortlisting, we received calls for WAT, GD and PI. The entire process was conducted in a single day. The application link is usually available on the JBIMS website and LinkedIn page after CET exam. The college should start considering CAT scores as well for the admissions. Also, even though the name suggests that its a Master's in Human Resource Development, but actually its a management course with all the subjects of management in 2-year curriculum.

As a JBIMS student, I found the admission process for MHRD to be well organized overall. I appeared for the CAT exam as well as CET exam and scored above the cutoff. While I agree the CET is generally considered easier than the CAT, I found the Logical Reasoning section particularly challenging. Practicing with previous years' papers and mock tests proved very helpful. I believe adding an extempore round to the interview process would allow candidates to showcase their communication skills and ability to think on their feet. Although my interview was interesting, I felt a bit restricted by the structured questions, and an extempore could provide a more holistic assessment. JBIMS admission process, specifically for MHRD is good overall. By streamlining the application process, providing clearer communication, and considering an extempore round, I believe JBIMS MHRD can attract even more talented and diverse students.

Ans. Yes, JBIMS offers a scholarship named Smt Jyoti Dwivedi Memorial Scholarship which is given to the educationally bright students having financial difficulties during studies.

Ans. The following scholarships are provided to JBIMS students:
For GEM, the CAT percentiles required to get an interview call from IIM Blackis, FMS, SP Jain, JBIMS, and MDI Gurgaon are
It’s important to know that these figures are based on trends and not on actual data so you will find exceptions everywhere. Moreover, it’s better you don’t waste time analyzing the CAT cutoff and start preparing for the same.
At IIM/FMS/JBIMS/SPJIMR/IIFT/XLRI, attendance is seen as a crucial aspect of the learning experience. Every effort must be made to be present in class and to participate actively in the discussions. In fact, class participation is considered to be such an important factor in determining grades that a significant portion of the total course weightage is allocated to it. This system is in place to encourage students to be engaged in the learning process and to ensure that they are taking full advantage of the educational opportunities available to them.
On the other hand, at IIT Kanpur, there is a more relaxed approach to attendance. While it is still advisable to attend classes and to be present for lectures, there is no strict requirement in place. This gives students more flexibility and allows them to choose when they want to attend classes based on their personal schedules or other commitments. It also means that engineering students are not penalized if they miss a class or two, as long as they are able to make up for it by participating in other ways, such as completing assignments or preparing for exams.
Overall, both B-schools and Engineering colleges have different approaches to attendance and class participation. While IIM Ahmedabad places a strong emphasis on being present in class and participating actively, IIT Kanpur takes a more relaxed approach. Ultimately, the choice between the two institutions will depend on the individual student's preferences and learning style.
MDI Gurgaon’s PGP-IM Program is one of the most coveted Management courses of the institute. It has several features that distinguish it from other regular PGP courses offered at top B Schools. My brother opted for this course out of many and he listed the following reasons that compelled him to go for the program
It’s the above points that strongly assert the worth of the IM program at MDI Gurgaon. As it’s graduate you are not only an MDI alumnus but also an ESCP alumnus. You can use both brand names to your advantage. Choosing MDI is like investing for 2 years for a benefit of 30-35 years. So the brand name and alumni base definitely matter more than just a random IIM tag.
The peer pool of IIM Ahmedabad varies from that of other B-schools like SP Jain, FMS, and NMIMS because of the admission criteria and quality of intake. The majority of the IIM Ahmedabad batch comprises performing students with CAT percentile almost touching 100 percentile. and most of them got close to the 100 percentile in CAT and they get opportunities to study business studies in IIM A, B, and C. Very few students get into IIMs through the process of diversification only if they scored more than 80 percent grade in Xth, XII th and Graduate Examinations. The other B schools like SP Jain, FMS, NMIMS, or JB don’t have such strict criteria and the peer pool comprises students from diverse academic profiles rather than just top CAT rankers.
This is the major point of difference between the two kinds of B Schools. As a result of this, IIM Ahmedabad students are offered better placement opportunities at the global level than these average B-schools.
It can be affirmatively stated that JBIMS is considered one of the best business schools in India. The trio of IIM A/B/C holds a distinct brand value compared to other top colleges in the country and globally. The brand recognition and respect of the IIM institutes have increased due to its status as an "Institutes of National Importance" and the widespread accomplished alumni base both in and outside of India.
JBIMS boasts an impressive list of notable alumni, including Vinita Bali, the Managing Director of Britannia, Lalita D. Gupte, Chairperson of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company, and Chanda Kochhar, Managing Director & CEO of ICICI Bank, India, just to name a few. Moreover, the Managing Directors and CEOs of some of India's largest companies such as ICICI, HUL, Kotak Mahindra, and Piramal are alumni of JBIMS.
It is important to understand that MBB, a Management consulting firm operates on a level playing field when it comes to career development and opportunities. Regardless of one's background, the only determining factor for success at MBB is one's performance within the firm. The company values hard work, dedication, and results above all else, which is why your alma mater will not have any impact on your salary, career trajectory, or the type of work you are assigned.
This emphasis on the performance of graduates from IIMs and JBIMS over external factors is a unique aspect of MBB and demonstrates the company's commitment to providing equal opportunities for all its employees. The company recognizes and rewards those who have the skills, drive, and determination to excel in their roles, regardless of where they come from.
In conclusion, it is essential to understand that your alma mater, whether it is IIM or JBIMS, holds no weight in determining your salary in MBB. The focus is solely on individual performance, and the company is committed to providing equal opportunities for all its employees.

While considering the worth of any program you should consider 3 factors namely curriculum, peer learning, and profiles offered. Let’s discuss M.Sc Finance from JBIMS on the basis of the following factors
There are nine reasons for choosing JB over Trichy. Firstly, JBIMS has a stronger alumni base, with many successful CEO's having graduated from the institute. Secondly, JB has a better reputation in the industry. Thirdly, JB ranks in the top 10 colleges, while Trichy is far behind. Fourthly, the average salary offered at JB (INR 27.63 LPA) is higher than that offered at Trichy (INR 17.01 LPA). Fifthly, JB offers better roles and opportunities. Sixthly, the location of JB (Mumbai) is a major advantage over Trichy. Seventhly, the IIM tag carries more weight when one graduates from BLACKI compared to a newer institute like Trichy. Eighthly, the return on investment for JBIMS is higher than that for Trichy. Finally, the cutoff for general category applicants at JBIMS is 99.93%tile+ in the CET, while the cutoff for Trichy is 93%tile+ in the CAT.
