TISS BAT is replaced with CUET UG 2024 exam. The exam is conducted for admission into BA in Social Sciences, BA in Social Work, and Integrated BA in Social Sciences and Social Work. CUET UG 2024 exam has been rescheduled. Previously it was from May 15th to May 31st, 2024 and now the exam will be from May 15th to May 24th, 2024.
Highlights
- Registration process for this year’s CUET UG exam is over. According to reports, 13,47,618 number of students registered for CUET UG 2024 exam.
- Tata Institute of Social Sciences has set an age limit of 20 years for General, 22 years for OBC category, and 24 years for reserved categories

Now, most of you might get panicked about the exam being replaced with another national-level entrance test. We can tell you that there is no need to worry as most of the sections of CUET UG 2024 will be based on whatever you have learned so far now. According to CUET UG 2024 exam pattern, you have to attempt English language from Section 1A and Section 3 of the General Test.
In the English or Language (Section 1A) paper, you have to attempt 40 out of a total of 50 questions. Similarly, from the General Test paper, 50 out of 60 questions must be attempted. CUET UG 2024 General Test syllabus includes topics from general knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, numerical ability, reasoning, and logical and analytical reasoning.
The declaration of CUET UG 2024 result is June 30, 2024. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences will publish a merit list separately based on the scores you obtain in CUET UG 2024 exam. The cut-off marks for different courses will be provided once the result gets published on the website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. As per the admission criterion, the upper age limit set for General, OBC, SC/ST are 20 years, 22 years, and 24 years respectively.

TISS BAT (CUET UG) 2024 Eligibility
Tata Institute of Social Sciences has laid down some eligibility criteria for its BA programs and thus for CUET UG exam. Here are the details of this eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board
- Those who have appeared for Class 12 examinations and are awaiting results can also apply, however, these candidates need to produce their results at the time of final selection.

- Choose any of 6 options to create login ID (Aadhaar Card number, PAN Card number, Indian or Non-Indian Passport number, Digilocker Account, ABC ID)
- Enter your mobile number followed by an OTP verification
- Create a strong password along with entering the security pin
- Fill required details (Personal, communication, atleast four test cities, course preference, paper appearing, academic qualifications)
- Upload images as per specified guidelines (photograph, signature, category certificate)
- Payment of CUET UG 2024 application fee
- Click on Submit

TISS University Counselling through CUET UG 2024
After the declaration of results of CUET UG 2024 on June 30, 2024, next step will be counselling. For BA in Social Work, there will be a personal interview also. Appearing in these stages will be necessary and candidates will not be given admission if they does not appear in these stages.
Here are some details about the procedure after declaration of Results of CUET UG 2024:
- Candidates who wish to take admission in BA in Social Sciences have to appear in counselling process for verification of certificates.
- Counselling is done rank-wise, if seats are vacant, then waiting lists are released and counselling for waitlisted candidates is done in subsequent weeks.
- Candidates seeking admission in BA in social work have to appear in Personal Interview first. Candidates will be given a score out of 50 on the basis of this interview.
- Merit list for BA in Social Work will be prepared on the basis of combined scores of CUET UG and Personal Interview.
- Candidates who are selected have to submit a specified amount of fee to book their seat.
