Life at KJ Somaiya
Campus: KJ Somaiya campus is well spread across 60 acres. The beautiful campus is well-equipped with hi-tech classrooms, IT infrastructure, hostels, medical facilities, an auditorium, library, seminar halls, conference rooms and much more.
Hostels: There are 2 separate hostels for girls and boys, namely, MAITREYA and SANDIPANI respectively in the college. Facilities such as spacious, clean, and well-ventilated living rooms with attached washrooms, internet, a Laundromat, a student mess, an activity room, and a well-equipped gym are available in each hostel.
Library: A full-fledged, and aesthetically developed Knowledge Center has been built by the institution on its campus. It hosts a vast collection of close to 50000+ books covering a wide range of specializations including Management, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, and Data Science. Books are arranged in 2 different sections including General Home-Lending Section and Reference Section. applied for XIMb and chose not to join it because of its toxic hostel life. It's infamous for the bullying and ragging stories of the hostel.. Hostel life here in KJSIM is quite healthy and chill. Everyone is inclusive and from different culture. Also the city og mumbai was the major factor for joining this college. Admission process consisted of clearing the cut off set by the college and after that WAT and Group discussion and Personal interview. Based on cumulative score of this we are selected

Eligibility of the course included graduated students/students from final year of undergraduate college and take students based on entrances score with different bifurcation being diversity, academic records, case analysis and personal interviews Admission form is found on the K J Somaiya Institute of Management website, application fees is around 2000 INR They take all the exams include CAT, CMAT, NMAT, XAT etc. Admission process was good but they made us wait for our interviews for a very long time, they could've given us slots for the same, it was a little hectic process

After not achieving the desired marks in CAT, I managed to secure a commendable 99.67 percentile in CMAT, which significantly expanded my opportunities. The admission process at K J Somaiya involved a Case Analysis and Personal Interview, which I found to be relatively manageable. Given my rigorous study routine of 12-14 hours a day in preparation for CMAT, the exam itself felt comparatively easier. I appreciated the seamless flow of the process at K J Somaiya. The process of the CMAT was really goood and everyone knew that if she can bring 99 percentile she is good enough to be in the college, the admission team who took my interview were very sweet and humble.

I liked the whole admission process. The cut off eligibility set by K J Somaiya was 70 percentile via XAT and 224 via NMAT and I had a score of 95.52 in XAT and 240 in NMAT which was within the range they wanted so I was able to clear the CAPI easily.

- The time for classes is such that, that students are able to spend more for extra curriculum and co-curriculum activities.

- The intake is too much which can be sometimes problematic.
- Sometimes proper scheduling can be problem due to which students do not get enough break.
Admission:
The application process was transparent and easy. I like that the process was completed timely with punctuality. Our assessment score was ready and after the declaration of results, the merit list was out soon. They also provided scholarships to students who needed financial assistance. The thing which can be improved is that the admissions are done sooner as compared to other colleges accepting the same exams so, many of the students didn't get a chance to appear for other colleges.

KJ Somaiya Scholarship Renewal Eligibility
- Based on academic performance in the 1st Year at 65% to 70% Marks or equivalent CGPA, attendance above 75%.
- The recipient of the scholarship should not have any disciplinary action initiated against Them.
KJ Somaiya Financial Aid
KJ Somaiya Financial Aid will be awarded to selected candidates in the range of 10% to 80% of the tuition fees. The financial aid will be applicable for the entire duration of the program. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
