NITK : Beach and Study

For odd sem ,tution fees is around 90000 and even sem has 60000 fees. For hostel ,it is 32000. For 4 yr of course , total fees would be 8,70,000. Financial aids are given to students with reservation or economic weaker section category. Scholorships are given to the top performing students.

There is not a lot of annual increase in the fees. For a general student the fees structure is tuition (65000) + mess and hostel fees (35000) amounting to a total of Rs 1,00,000 per semester. Multiple scholarships are available for SC/ST's and OBC-NCL (non creamy layer) per semester amounting to a minimum of 20 - 30 k scholarships if students correctly verify their details . Financial aid is also provided to such students by the college while buying electronic items. College gives a rebate of more than 50% on such items with bill.

Some courses which are still following the old method of teaching instead updating to the newer technology

Fee structure is very affordable. Within ten lakhs, all 4 years can be managed. If u get some scholarships based on reservation then it will be even less. There are many banks ready to give financial assistance to the students in the form of loans. And the campus employment opportunities are very good as top companies visit the college during placements. The tuition fee is almost same every year.

As my badluck, I won't get more scholarship other than SSP. As my parents income is slightly above the income limit of most scholarship. And I am applying SSP scholarship and may be around 40000 amount I will get from it.

However the students who are not able to afford are provided the scholarships by many big companies and financial assistance is also provided by the banks . Companies like JIO , RELIANCE provide upto 2 lakh of scholarship to the students. The complete cost of education take upto 8 lakh rupees. campus employment is also there in terms of internships and placements.

For the general category like people for me the tuition fee is around 2 lakhs per year about 1 lakhs per semester and for the sc/st students there is no tuition fee. There are many scholarships program available for the students even if they are general category they can still get fee concession. The tuition fees is Okay right now, we are able to pay and I don't think there should be any increase in the tuition fees. I don't have that much idea of scholarship as a first year but I availed the obc scholarship from the college which decreased fees which was pretty good and helpful for us orelse we had to take loan to pay the fees
