My course department that is Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology
My laboratory which we recently inaugurated

Dislikes

The weather here is unpredictable, the one who's sensitive should be careful
The one who comes from a distant like it's in Northern parts

Faculty:

We have mid terms and end terms and quiz. It's easy if we learn and read regularly Only a few one or two fails. It is very relevant to our course and it gives information and resources to learn fisheries

Good teaching staff. All are PHD scholars
We got a good park. Nice building. Good environment around the faculty

Dislikes

There is only one bus available in our faculty
We dont have a playground. We want a playground

Faculty:

The teaching staff of our faculty is extremely good. They are very experienced and they have a lot of knowledge. And we dont find any difficulty to talk with our teachers. They are like parents to us. And our each course, we have 2 _ 3 teachers per subject.

Review for the Skaust K faculty of fisheries

We have a opportunity to have a research work in outside ICAR institute
Education was very good and practical skills were improved and more over we can able to study the cold water fisheries

Dislikes

Travel expenses were quite high but no worries about that because u will get a scholarship from ICAR
In summer i couldn't tolerate the heat exposure...the major problem is power cut

Faculty:

Faculty to students ratio nearly 1: 1 to 1:2 , the teachers were experience teachers they were pursuing the PHD in abroad and more over their teaching skills were too good . The major language of teaching is English and Hindi . We can approach the teachers as a friendly but during the research they were to tough to speak ..when work came they became a strict staff

There are around 8-9 subjects in every semester so we get to know each aspect of our concerned field. Moreover we have to teach ourselves. Most teachers don't teach us in efficient way. This is nothing but a big waste of money and time. We all have lost in this degree.

The faculty in our college r highly educated. our college has a good number of lectures numbering between 50 to 60. the age range is between 30 to 60. all are experts in their respective subjects. Many of our lecturers hold industrial experience and certification which they share to their students.

The faculty of fisheries is considered one of the best faculty in the university. I can say with authority that the faculty is over qualified, and we'll dedicated. Every Head of Department is well known and respected thouroughout the country. Only thing is that they are more involved with research with PG students and less with UGs.
