We got a good park. Nice building. Good environment around the faculty

There is only one bus available in our faculty
We dont have a playground. We want a playground

Course Curriculum Overview :

Its a professional course. And our SKUAST University ranks 4th in our Country (India). This university has a good scope and experience in all subjects. What we learn. There are many job opportunities both private and government

Class Size : 24Course Fees : INR 36000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Now.. The fee concern is a problem for many students. There are 28k rupees fees, in every semester which is not affordable to all but they give us scholarships. Not to all students but low-income students

Campus Life :

There are no such festivals in our college But we do celebrate Kisan mela day. Where all faculties of SkUast Kashmir assemble. In winter seasons, we celebrate an event called IRTIQA in every year

Admission :

The eligibility for this course is a 12th pass. We can apply each year for this examination in SKUAST EXAMS. The cut-off for this course is almost 50 plus out of 135. But it is increasing per year. After 2 to 3 years. It will go around 70

Faculty :

The teaching staff of our faculty is extremely good. They are very experienced and they have a lot of knowledge. And we dont find any difficulty to talk with our teachers. They are like parents to us. And our each course, we have 2 _ 3 teachers per subject.

Remarks:

Our college has experienced and high quality teaching faculties. They are always helpful and nice toward students. They complete the portions required on time and prepare us well for the external exams. The average age is about 30 to 35. They use presentations and other technology in order for students better understanding.

Admission:

Cleared NIFT common entrance exam with a ranking of 224 and had choosen NIFT for its reputation of being home to free minds. Then got admitted to this college after the counseling process was over and I got this according to my score.

Placement Experience:

A number of companies came for the internships and the faculty helped the students in making right choices. The average stipend was Rs.5000/- per month. Placement opportunities are provided to almost all students. Others chose higher studies or made arrangements for themselves via contacts and alumnus. All leading retailers and export houses were part of the placement drive.

Remarks:

College is very backward in Extracurricular activities. Infrastructure is not well developed in case of sport and external activities. College is located at breathtaking location. Hostel Facility is not upto the mark.
