Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalaya is an agricultural university at Palampur in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It was established on 1 November 1978 as an expansion of the existing College of Agriculture established in May 1966. Hill agriculture is the focus of this university. The university is accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The college offers undergraduate courses for B. Tech in various disciplines. The college also offers a 2-year programme for M.SC and M.V.SC under different specialisations. It is ranked 11th amongst 75 ICAR Universities of India.

Admission for B.Sc. nonmedical stream requires non-medical in the qualifying 12th class. The admission is purely on the basis of 12th-class marks. Application forms can be found online on the University website.

University is very beautiful and also very good in education. We can gain many things from it. Faculty is superb and it also focus on organic farming and also have great labs. Soil science, agronomy, ranger service, agriculture, condition science, human science, augmentation, maths, nss, direction, English practicals are of 30 imprints and the subject dont have reasonable then the test is led of 50 imprints.
It is a 4 years course, and has the updated syllabus for each subject. The course is well designed to make the students understand in-dept about their respective fields. Exams are held regularly and if you don't study properly then you may get poor marks or sometimes fail.
The curse curriculum follows the updated syllabus as per the latest standards. BVSc & AH is a 5 years of detailed course. You will have to clear the exams (both theoretical and practical) that are held timely.
B. Tech food technology is a professional course which has the duration of 4 years and follows semester system. The course structure is very good and flexible. Also, the course involves various research and practicals. The days are filled with learnings and exams are also tiring.
The facilities are very good in the college premises. The hostel facilities are very good as Wi-Fi is available and other medical facilities are also available. The senors are very desciplined and they are very friendly.
