Admission in UG and PG courses is based on the SKUAST-J CET score or ICAR CET score followed by marks in qualifying examination.
The selection of candidates in Ph.D. is granted on the basis of merit in UG and PG courses also, followed by an interview and counselling rounds.
Admission to the Diploma and Certificate courses is given on the basis of merit secured in10+2 and 10th standard respectively.

After my 12th examination, I go through the crash course for JKCET Exam. At that time JKCET Exam for all courses MBBS, BDS, BVSc, and BSc. Agri. And engineering in different fields. In the entrance examination, I got marks but exact I dont remember, i was selected in BSc. Agriculture and in physiotherapy but my seniors advised me BSc. Agriculture is good. I got selected under the SC Category. The duration of BSc in Agriculture is 4 years. So I did a BSc. Agriculture in She-e- kashmir university of Agriculture and Sciences and Technology Jammu.

For admission in undergraduate courses, you should have passed the 12th class with medical or non-medical subjects. For master's, you should have passed undergraduate from agriculture and allied courses. The frequency of exams is often and is highly difficult

The addmission is through SKUAST CET the cutt of for agriculture is quiet low around 75 /180 for general category students The exam is conducted every year and the application is through the official site of SKUAST J Then the students are called for counseling according to their marks obtained in 4 rounds .

You have to appear for exam SKUAST-CET I secured 83.25 in it and i got admission in the 2nd counselling round. Any of the student with PCM or PCB can give exam. You can go yo skuast jammu official website for info regarding application and results.
The course is for 3 years, the classes are arranged for one hour daily and there are 5 subjects in which one is optional. The exam was quite easy, there were 90 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics which were to be solved in 2 hours.
Course educational plan is given by the ICAR and followed by the college. It is significant and lab work an and field work is done simultaneously.various kinds of involvement with the type of examination station visits and industry visits. The instructors encounters help the understudies to turn out to be better experts.
The course structure is descriptive with educational tours and programs are additionally included in the educational plan which is the best piece of our degree. It is likewise truly learned and an extraordinary chance to visit different well-known research organizations
The course curriculum is good as along with regular classes the educational tours are also added in the curriculum which is the best part of our degree and It is also very knowledgeable and a great opportunity to visit various famous research institutes of the country.
College managemnet is helpful. Overall a good college to spend 4/3/5 years of your life as an agri student.
My college is the best college in North India as it have all the things from nature to the infrastructure everything is present in it's best way and the campus of our college is admiring and liked by all. Administration of all college is up to Mark and very well.

SKUAST Jammu PhD's eligibility criteria is to complete a master’s degree in the relevant specialisation and from a recognised university. The eligibility required percentage is at least 65%. Final admission is merit based.
The fee structure for B.VSc course is INR 89,300 with per year fees of INR 15,600.
The first-year fee of SKUAST Jammu M.V.Sc. is INR 33,100. The second-year fee of the course is INR 22,600. The total fee is INR 55,700.
