Central University of Kashmir Admissions

Central University of admissions to all programs are conducted once a year. The application process for admission at CU Kashmir usually starts in the month of June every year. Candidates seeking admission can apply online on the official admission portal of the university. Admission to most of the UG and PG programs are done through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), conducted by the NTA.

The university conducts is own entranc test (CUKAT) for admission to B.Voc, M.Ed and PG Diploma programs. The government offers a variety of scholarship programs that students at Central University of Kashmir can take advantage of. Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities	Eligibility Criteria: The specially abled student should have a valid certificate with more than 40% of physical disability. The family income should be six lakhs and not more than that. Students should pursue an undergraduate or a PG course from any recognised university. Documents required: Disability proof Birth certificate Course fee receipt Academic mark sheets of the previous education Proof of income, and more as per the requirements from the authorities. Mode of application: The interested students can apply for this scholarship on the official website scholarships.gov.in.	The cost for books and stationary will be covered up to 5000 per year. Maintenance allowances will be covered. 3000 INR per month for a hostler and 1500 INR per month for a day scholar. Tuition fee will be covered up to 2 lakhs per annum. This amount is variable depending upon the fee of the course. 45,000 INR, a one time allowance will be given for devices used for studying (laptop/desktop) Other allowances such as helper or escort allowances will be covered for 2000 INR per month.
Top Class Education Scheme for SC students	Eligibility: Students have to be enrolled in a full-time course in a recognized university. They have to be an Indian citizen. They have gained admission under the general category seats of the college/university. Their family income should not exceed 8 lakhs per year. This number includes earnings from every sources In one family, only 2 siblings are allowed to enrol and benefit from this scholarship. It is because of the high competition Candidates with a strong academic background with weaker economic conditions will be preferred 30% reservations from the total scheme population is reserved for the SC girl child. Mode of applying Candidates must go to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's official website to submit an application. They must first log in and sign up as new applicants before filling out the application form, uploading all required files, and submitting it.	The salary per year is INR 3.72 Lakh in the case of enrollment in private flying clubs for commercial flight training and rating courses. Additionally, it pays for up to INR 2,220 per month as the living costs for students to sustain themselves. Books and stationery costs are also covered. Every awardee receives 3,000 per month to cover these costs. The scholarship pays the full tuition for up to INR 2 lakh per year for students attending private institutions. A one-time financial aid for a computer or laptop is also covered by the scholarship. This cost corresponds to a 45,000 compensation.

Fragmented departments as one department is approximately 10 km away from amother.

Admission:

I choose Cuk because of dicipline there.. In short after 12th you have alot options but there are collages where no matter you attend classes or not you will study a night and get 80-90%. But in CUK you have to read things and attend classes then after you have to clear cia and lab courses...

Central University of Kashmir is best institute in Kashmir valley,the faculty,campus and the atmosphere for study is just amazing and splendorous.
I have enjoyed my campus life at central university of Kashmir,the students, faculty and other staff are friendly with students.

Dislikes

Size of classrooms is small,and the transport connectivity to that area is poor
Canteen is not so well developed,and for students that are from outside have to face lot of problems because hostels are not operating right know

Admission:

Basic eligibility to get enrolled in the institute is first you should have cleared Your 12th class exams and after that you have to appear in CUET . Application forms, application fees and application dates are available on university site as well as NTA Site.Yes there is reservation for different categories but not that high.Exams are always on time and the paper level is not that much easy and not that much difficult there should be online process for admission because students are from far places so it would be easy for them if the admission process is made online

Admission process is like cutting cake. Very smooth. Everything is online.There are reservations for castes like OBC,SC,ST,EWS. Exams are moderate level and on time. Course always finishes on time. I woupd suggest that there should be some placements for good rankers

The eligibility for B.Ed.at Central University of Kashmir is graduation in any subject and the admissions are done through common university entrance test which Is held annually at central level and the reservation is available as per the UGC regulations.

Admission:

Must have a bsc degree of minimum 50% marks and should attend cuet pg entrance exam and should apply for the desired course. Application fee will be around 500 something. Reservation benefits are availed. Cut off will be different for reservation categories. Exam is moderate level and exams will be after March or April.

Kashmir is a no polution area.and also it is good for our health.

The university is divided into four campuses.
Language will be a problem. The local language here is urdu

We have to attend an entrance for the admission. And the cut off was about 75%.And there are reservations also. The exam will be a 1 hr exam.And it was not at all tough bt you have to cover 12th ncert syllabus for that
