We had many trainings outside our state, which helped us in many ways. Also a three month internship was at our own college for which we were paid 21000 .. This helped us to learn many things involving how we can do sales and marketing.

Placement cells are improving day by day but not much active till now. Very few companies visit our campus which is why maximum students opt for higher studies. After that, they can apply for the assistant professor post which is very prestigious. Very very much less scope in government jobs. Salaries are good appx. 4 LPA but opportunities are lesser. Recently companies from Thailand and new Zealand visited our campus and offered various jobs to students which is a positive side.
Many national and international companies provide internships to students of the college. Recently a company from Thailand offered internships to the students and provide them with good amounts of money. The main focus of the companies is to get them for research and scientific programs.
They do not offer any placement. And this is shameful. Our future is not secure. We have no option but to change our field now.
Well there is less placements held in campus becoz of kashmir diplomatic conditions but if you go outside or directly to company you will definitely get opportunity although its all dependent on studenta calibre
Our college is located in northern side of Kashmir. People here mostly deal with agriculture and horticulture. so it's an ideal position for college. I have not opted for any internship yet but I am looking it in future. Many agro based companies have approached and visited in our college in resent past. these companies are mostly agro based. the recruitment process is simple in these companies. U need to have graduation in agriculture field. many students had made carrier in these companies in resent past. and our institutions has helped a lot in this direction.
Placement process is nill. No company visits the college for placements. Students have to compete with the non profeesionals for the job with no extra weightage. Least no. of students have got the job.
The is not internship in fisheries. There is a programme of READY wherein the students are exposed to national level training programmes in the field of fisheries.
