NIT Jamshedpur MCA admission 2024 via NIMCET is open. The NIT Jamshedpur MCA program is based on the NIMCET scores and the registrations for the same have started. Interested candidates can submit the online application form till April 20, 2024. The NIMCET 2024 will take place in online mode and is scheduled for June 08, 2024.
NIT Jamshedpur MCA is a 3-year course offered at the PG level in full-time mode. Candidates with a minimum of 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA (6.0 CGPA for SC/ ST) from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this program. However, admission is granted only if the candidates have secured valid ranks in the NIMCET exam. In 2023, the opening and closing ranks of NIT Jamshedpur remained at 329 ranks and 470 ranks respectively. - Students must have passed a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-year duration in any discipline with at least 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA

NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) is an annually conducted entrance exam for candidates seeking admission in to the MCA program of different NIT colleges. NIMCET is a two-hour 120-MCQs CBT exam and the duration of the exma is 120 minutes. Mathematics consists of 600 marks making it the highest contributing subject. There are full marks awarded for correct answers and 25% marks will lead to negative mark for each wrong answers.

Almost All subjects are covered in six semesters, faculties are highly educated and you can also contact the faculty for doubts in their cabins. All faculties qualifications are Btech+Mtech and some did Ph.D. also Exams are conducted twice every 6 months and are not very difficult, most of the questions come from previous years

NIT_JSR have separate faculty than BTech. I think 9-10 faculty:90 students is the ratio there. They are Highly Qualified in their particular Subjects some of them were Gold Medalists in their time. If you were regular and Punctual you will definitely score good marks.

Syllabus was quite updated. And library is really good, probably the best place in campus with all new edition books. Since, NIT Jamshedpur is one of the oldest colleges in the city, placements are really good. Almost all students of my batch got placed.

Its a six semester course, for gen/obc it's 77000/semester, and for sc/st it's 42000/semster. Online mode is accepted. For the first semester only bank draft is accepted during admission thereafter online mode is applicable for the rest of semsters. There is full transparency in the fee breakup. So all in all it's feasible.

I am enrolled in Mca. The mode of payment is both demand draft and online mode. At the time of admission 10k is being takem as security but is refundable. It is feasible but can be little bit low. We pay around 75k per semester including hostel charges.We are provided bus facilities to go out of the campus in evening daily.

Placement is excellent here but infrastructure is very poor. Faculty members are satisfactory. New academic building is in process. It conducts several cultural and technical fest where students from others college come and participate.

Fee Structure was feasible in that time 45000 per semester,which can be accepted in all the payment methods, cheques, DD, Online payments,in cash also.No there weren't any additional charges other than this, for admission there is soime amount to be ppaid for security purposes which is completely refundable. Yes they provide fully transparent fee breakdown every semester as same as previous.

For MCA every semester 45000, for mess 16500 per semester and hostel fee 15000 per semester should be paid. Hostel and mess fee is not fixed. It can be more for new admission. Fir the first semester student they will take extra 10000 fir the security purpose but at last they will return you.
