Course Details
BIT Mesra MCA admission 2024 will begin in March-April. MCA admission at BIT Mesra is based on the BIT MCA entrance exam conducted by the institute.
The BIT MCA syllabus consists of 4 subjects namely Mathematics, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English. This entrance test will comprise 120 questions.
BIT Mesra offers a 2-year-long MCA program in Computer Application. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in BCA or BSc Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications to be eligible for this program at BIT Mesra. The provisional selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the MCA entrance test. The institute offers a total of 60 seats to its MCA aspirants and the total course fee amounts to INR 5.79 Lakhs.

BIT Mesra MCA Eligibility Criteria
BIT Mesra offers an MCA program at the PG level for a duration of 2 years. Candidates will be given admission to this course only on meeting the following eligibility criteria:
- The candidates should have passed class 10+2, or equivalent examination as one of the subjects in Computer Science / Mathematics / Information Practices.
- The candidate should have completed his graduation with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Computer Applications degree
- B.Sc. in Information Technology /computer science / Electronics, or
- B.Sc. degree with any of Statistics or Mathematics subjects.
- The candidates should have passed the above-mentioned qualifications with minimum score marks of 55% for general and 50% (for SC/ ST/ PWD).
- The candidates in the final year of their graduation can also apply, and if selected, their admission will be provisional.
BIT Mesra MCA Selection Criteria
Candidates have to appear for the BIT MCA entrance test conducted by the institute itself. Candidates who will be shortlisted may be called for verification of documents and admission if the institute has any remaining vacant seats.
BIT Mesra MCA Admission 2024
BIT Mesra Admission 2024 will be subjected to fulfilling the eligibility requirements along with clearing the BIT MCA exam. However, candidates’ admission will be automatically canceled if:
- If any student provides any wrong information
- The student fails to submit their final degree/qualifying examination or fails to secure the minimum marks required.

- Payment receipt showing application fee of INR 2,500/- (General/ OBC) and INR 1,500/- (SC/ST) candidates (non-refundable)

- Marksheet Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent
- Marksheets of graduation, OR Mark Sheets up to a pre-final year for candidates graduating in 2021. The candidate must also bring a certificate from the Principal of the Institute stating that:
- They should also carry a photocopy of their completed online form.

Ans. The MCA program is offered by BIT Mesra for a duration of 2 years at the PG level. Ans. BIT Mesra charges an amount of INR 5.79 Lakhs for its 2-year MCA program. The tuition fee for the first two and last two semesters is INR 1.31 Lakhs and INR 1.44 Lakhs. Furthermore, candidates will also have to pay an additional amount during the time of admission which is INR 27,700. The hostel fees are extra and payable during registration for each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum of MCA is very relevant. Major courseworks include Modern Operating System, Software Engineering Principles, Theory of Computation, Compiler Design, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, etc. There is no mid semester exams for PG. End semester exams are held in november (for Aug-Nov semester) and April (for Jan -April semester). Apart from these, quizzes for every mnodules are conducted.

As I have an interest in computer science and it was an integrated course of Mca which was of 5 years Al faculty were highly qualified and the best in their subject. Average teacher use to teach us with books so there is no bad method for teaching in bit Mesra The on-time exam used to be conducted and if we studied it will be easy.

The course curriculum for MCA at BIT Mesra is quite better, you'll learn the latest technologies during the course. Faculties are great, experienced and into research for several years, you may reach them any time if you have any queries regarding your subject or any technology they'll help you out for the same. Most of the faculties are holding Ph.D. Their teaching method is incomparable.

Although I would like every college to include courses nowadays which are properly used in industry like spring boot, Maven, etc. The term exams are comprehensive especially offline exams and are difficult to Crack so better take the course seriously here to pass.
