Professors are very supportive , always intrested to talk with students
The freedom this college provide to the student is the most loved thing.

Dislikes

The campus is in the outskirts so makes it very difficult to travel to the city.
The compulsory PE is annoying as hell, especially on the tougher semesters

The campus life is very nice .There are many places near to college to roam around.
The administration is very nice they didnt restrict students too much.

boring classes like in school life and boring proffesor too.
mid sem and end semester paper they take are quite tough.

course curriculam is very nice and it is not hectic . I did this course because of my interest and this college is near to my home town. FAculty here are highly educated and have good knowledge in the subject exams are conducted by semester wise

The course curriculum is the most flexible here Major courses are electives but the curriculum is hectic for faculty and is average in few courses most amount of HSS courses are there overall IIT in India

Best Campus Life you will ever experience, absolutely no restrictions inside campus and hostels.

Coding culture yet to be developed, Students are not that serious in sports and other extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The top companies which offered jobs include Google, Amazon, HCL, IBM, etc. Around 90% of students who registered and were eligible for placements got placed. The highest package offered was 62LPA and the average package is around 16LPA. I plan to do my master's at one of the top universities in the USA.

Around 80% of students got placed in my batch. The top recruiters include Goldman Sachs, HPCL, ITC, Adani, Infosys, KPIT, etc. The average package is around 21LPA. The highest package is 51LPA. The college makes us ready to face the industry through clubs, meets, and workshops.

We have many options from various companies to choose from, with nearly 110+ companies participating in the placement. Deshaw, Google, ITC, JSW, Barclays, KMK Consulting, Ford, Mercedes India, Samsung, L&T, Oracle, and many other companies conduct company placement drives on our campus. The highest salary offer is 50 LPA, and the average earnings offer is 21 LPA.

Students belonging to the M.A course have very less placement opportunities here. Most of them go for teaching jobs in further colleges and universities. In general, the highest CTC last year went to Rs. 40 LPA. Campus placements occur every other and the batches which were available appeared in the placement. Many organisations, such as Enphase, Google, JSW, ITC, and others, come to campus for seminars and postings. the admission for the MA program at IIT Gandhinagar is based on the entrance exam and interview. I was invited for the written test and interview based on the academic records. IIT Gandhinagar has a great CSE department. The professors are among the best in India. Almost 50% of the faculty members are from the industry. So, you will get hands-on learning experience and in-depth knowledge about the current trends in the industry.

IITGN has a high-performing computer lab and two departmental labs with a capacity of 100 computers each. The research interface of the department is something the institute boasts about. Professors actively take part in cutting-edge research projects.

Companies such as IOCL, Goldman Sachs, ISRO, ITC, etc. recruit CSE students through IIT Gandhinagar placements. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 18 LPA.

It is an interdisciplinary and flexible course. It provides great insight into the cultural codes in the context of nations & societies.
You will develop a good skill base for doctoral studies, policy work, consultancy and it opens up a wide range of careers.
Students are given the freedom to touch subjects like Political Science, Communication, Neuroscience, and Psychology.

The three constituents of course are :
