The curriculum is kind of the same in all IITs so I don't think it a matter of doubt. But the effectiveness is rather a question of interest as we are made to study common concepts like physics, chemistry and mathematics in our first year of study which is not what one expects after clearing JEE advanced. The difficulty of the examination depends on the proffs who sets the question paper, but on an average it is difficult. We follow two exam policy which comprises of mid-semester and end-semester exams.

The campus provides placements and internship opportunities for us, which helps a lot for us in building our career. Internships usually are after 3rd year 2nd semester and placements are after 4th year 2nd semester. Many companies like Barclays, JSW, Adani, Delloitte, Infosys, etc. For CSE, the average package is 30LPA. And this avg package is growing yearly. In CSE department, almost 99% students are placed. My plan after my degree is to work in a good company. I feel the campus makes sure to give good opportunities for us.

From the starting of 3rd year students are eligible to apply for campus internships and placements. The percentage of placement is around 80 to 90% in the last academic year. Some of the companies that visited the campus in the last academic year include Texas Instruments and Nvidia. I am planning to pursue MBA after completing my b.tech in IIT Gandhinagar.

From 7th semester they are eligible for the placements, I am still in my second year so I am not sure about all the companies and their offers, I ll list a few like Barclays, atlassian, HDFC, Google, etc I think highest package this year is 85 Lakhs, and average package is maybe around 20 Lakhs. They won't be sharing the percentage of students getting placed so I don't know about it. My plan is to get placed in the college itself
