Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is well shaped and essential things are prioritized. There is also focus on general science, humanities and project courses which aims to make students known to all areas. The engineering aspects are well focused and in cohesion such that each course complements the next.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum in our campus is very good. Here any one can do his minors in their interesting domain. Also the courses which offered in our campus are very much useful for real life situations. Each class is more interactive. So it is not rather to just attend the classes and leave, it is like how well you participated and interacted.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course currciculum changes each semester based on the real world applications and practicalities of today's world. The best thing about IITGN is that the courses are not only designed by professsors but also based on the feedbacks of the students. The currciculum also prepares us for hand to hand real world problems and also prepares us to pursue other academic activities such as MTech or PhD. Since the curriculum is changing each semester the improvements are itself handled and the teaching methods of the professors and GTFs are also very good. The classes starts early at around 8 am and goes tilll 1pm and then from 2pm to 6pm and for the first 4 semesters a 45min physical activity session is also arranged to maintain the activeness of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course Curriculum is chill. But although it is chill, the course is well enough and prepares us for real life experiences. The course can be made more digital in order to improve the course. The teaching methods also can be made more practically. There are 2 exams per semester which are tough and problems are real life and we learn about the applications.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I am pursuing my BTech degree in IIT GN, IITGN has given liberty to choose course according to the student choice but aslo complete the core courses credit. The chemical faculty are well educated many of them have completed their PHD from aboard universities. The faculty memeber are too helpfull they clear one-o-one doubt, in chemical engineering batch 2022 we have total 45 student out of which 10 are female and rest of others are male. the exaam pattern depends on individual professor and aslo the toughness level of exam so i cant say anything about mostly all the exams are moderate if you studied you will pass.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of the college meets all the latest development and it gives us the freedom to choose other courses if we want but I stick to my preferred course of chemical engineering. The faculty is very good. The work is the guiding force and guides in developing our personality and help us to understand the concepts in broader ways. The faculty motivates us to develop our innovative skills and challenge our capabilities. The faculty is master.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
140000 per semester. But it changes for different categories SC,ST,OBC and PWD get good benefits. Also the are so many different scholarship programs to help students financially. Campus placement is organized average performing students easily get enough opportunities.

My semester fees is 153000 per semester including hostel and mess it is a little expensive looking at the efforts we put to get there but facilities are also best. College accepts fees thourough their online portal and fees structures is transparent and quite convincingly.

Fees have risen for the last two years. It is around 1.25 lacs per semester including the mess fees. There you will find many scholarship programs and they differ in each branch.

How is Chemical Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar in terms of course, faculty, packages and placements?
Chemical Engineering has a broad scope outside India but is yet to make its mark here. The field is not developed here yet, the demand is low and so is the pay. If you are genuinely interested in this field and want to pursue a career in the same, universities in the USA and Germany provide excellent opportunities. To ensure the maximum utilization of the benefits of this field, we need qualified professionals.
Infrastructure: IIT Gandhinagar is well known for its infrastructure and facilities. The new hostel has excellent accommodation facilities with 90 Mbps speed wifi. The food served in the mess is decent and there are also 4 canteens that have got a 5-star rating from FSSAI. Students are provided with 24/7 medical facilities.
Faculty: Sparing a few assistant professors, the faculty is mostly dedicated, passionate, and very learned. They provided constant assistance to the students.
Course: All the courses have the same syllabus in the first year. The semester exams are no joke and can be quite challenging at times. You will get some free time post classes so prepare well and get a good CPI. The institute follows a relative grading system so the passing marks vary from teacher to teacher.
Placements: Out of 27 registered students this year, 16 got placed bringing the placement percentage to 52.26%. IIT Gandhinagar's average package of Chemical Engineering stood at INR 14.82 LPA while the median package stood at INR 14 LPA.
Overall, the chemical Engineering department of IIT Gandhinagar is very promising although the placements are still average and need to improve.
