I just completed 2nd year, so I feel like I don't have the best insights into the relevance of the curriculum. But seniors say it is appropriately relevant. As far as teaching methods, some teachers arebreally good. On the other hand, some are not so good. It varies form teacher to teacher.

I will rate course & curriculum 9out of 10. The question areises why you choose this course. I choose this course first I interested in chemistry and second iit patna is in my home state so I choose this course and rank also factor in choosing college and course. First of all engineering course teach you to handle pressure and also teach many thing.Sometimes you fell boring but after completion of degree when u get placed then you realize what this curriculum, degree course teach. Almost all faculty are good and experience to teach us but some few are good in research and also experience but they not able to teach and conveys their knowledge to student. So in this field if something happen then it will change something. And also teaching language is only English it is also one demarit of these institutions. In one semester, midsem+ endsem+ quizes+ tutorial evaluation+lab exam conduct and it's level is gate level sometime ans sometimes ques comes from notes and tutorial.

I have chosen btech course because the world is without an engineer. The every development taking place in the world is because of an engineer.Engineer is the main pillar of the world. In the engineering course,I took chemical engineering stream. Its very unique stream. It is going very underrated stream. But the many pharmaceutical companies are running because of a chemical engineering.A chemical engineer can also work in petroleum and chemical industries and companies like HCL based on petroleum and dr.reddys lab companies etc.I hope you find well.It is in backward in south side of india

I got Chemical Branch as my rank could have been better. The inclusion of core subject and advance courses like process control, thermo and many other as well as practical sesssions, laboratory offers hands-on experience and application of theoritical concepts. the curriculum focus on fundamental concept, problem-solving skills and research oriented projects prepares students for both industry role and higher studies. Regular updates to incorporate emerging trends, technologies, and industry demands can improve through this. The exams are held twice a semester, one mid-sem and one end-sem

i choose chemical engeering as it would give me a platform to do research and work in the field to develop chemical reactors and design equipments and processes for manufacturing products such as gasoline, detergents and paper etc. the curriculum here not only focuses on the academics but also do real life applications on laboratory level and also provide industrial experience through internships .we mid semester and end semester exams and also have quizzes in between .

i am intrested in chemestry from my class 11, so i selected this course which is the best i am getting according to my rank and interest. I liked my IIT curriculum so much, actually it is so similar to the curriculum of IIT Kharagpur. it would be better if better faculty is provided physics. when comparing to real world application all IIT' are good, no doubt in that. but after JEE so many students want to relax and no great comprtition between students in terms of academics. here exam scheme is like, 40% marks are for end sem, end 30% marks are for mid sem exams and finally rest 30% marks are for class tests and sometimes even for attendence it will comprise of 10% based on lecture or tutor.

Because it was always a dream to study in an IIT.The student teacher ratio is also good 1:36.The quality of teachers is pretty good and give us very good guidance and proper knowledge about what they teach.Exams have been difficult,to pass u got to study hard

I Choose chemical engineering because it is relatively less hectic . I will get ample amount of time in coding and to follow my passsion. And also it is a core branch and have psus like ongc, barc, iocl etc our branch has nice faculty:student ratio of 7:1. All the professors are phd from iits/iisc or other top foreign universities. They are well experienced and their teaching style is good but some are boring too. Per semester we have 2 ten marks quizzes and one mid semester and one end semester exams. Here most people start their study 1week before the exam.
